I've seen lots of speculation around lawyers and others flipping on Trump recently. Mostly linked to the revelation that Ruddy was a target of an investigation and that there may be tapes and emails that incriminate many of the core inner circle around thr Georgiacase and Jan 6th. This seems to fit.

Rudy had had 18 phones/electronic devices seized by Fed's. The only kind of people I know with that many devices are criminals.

There is likely more than enough evidence on those devices to bury him many times over, and he knows it. Hardly surprising that he's been desperately seeking a proffer agreement.

I mean, is spitballing illegal/treasonous ideas out loud illegal or treasonous? That's not a rhetorical. It happened during Watergate -- Liddy especially did it, so did others. I guess my view is absolutely nothing this collection of cultist fanatics discussed would surprise me, but let's jail them if we can prove they committed actual crimes through the normal channels of jurisprudence. Anyhow, no one's mind is going to change. The Trumpist cultists who are starting to waver are doing so pragmatically -- i.e. because they sense that Trump can't/won't win -- and for no other reason.

This video is well worth watching. It's a retrospective examination of the impact of Donald Trump's win over Hillary Clinton in 2016 and a gentle rebuke of voters, who, in 2016, were disenchanted by both Trump and Hillary, and thus failed to vote.



As an aside, I personally think that Hillary would have been a tremendous President. She really cares for people, although this may not be obvious. If you have time, watch the PBS Frontline documentary focusing on the Democratic candidate for president, Hillary Clinton circa 2016.


Frontline airs two episodes prior to an USA presidential election - one examining the Democrat and one, the Republican. These episodes offer extremely deep insight into each candidate. The episodes about Trump - 2016 and 2020 - were equally fantastic. Both reveal Donald Trump's upbringing and personality and explain why he behaves as he does.

In the meanwhile Trump tried to whip up his MAGA fuckwits by ranting about "communists and markers". Along with covfefe, stollen, hamberder, Thighland, Nambia, diversary, etc. he probably underestimated the dosage of Adderall he needed to take before going on his rant.
