City Announces Global Partnership with Viagogo

Maybe our owners and club hierarchy believe it's time to optimise their investment and couldn't genuinely care less what people like you or I think?
I don't think they give a shit about what any of us think mate.

The only way it's going to change is by some sort of mass protests. Imagine playing a TV game with 30 thousand empty seats, or a mass walk out after 60 minutes of a TV game. It needs to be in the news putting those at the top in a difficult position.

As long as no fucker wears Zebra pants or flying goggles I'm in.

They all collectively shit it when they saw the backlash to the super league so owt's possible if the will is there.

It genuinely starts by fans agreeing and the fans that couldn't give a shit about other fans being ostracised instead of them propagating the "I'm alright " attitude.

I have always said that the club isn't winning things for us they are winning things just to drive their business and if it were up to them they'd transplant this club to New York or Beijing.

One of my sister's married a rag season ticket holder but with my sister being a blue they both go to City as well, not ST holders but do probably 10 or 12 games a season on average. He tells me that a lot of the tourists have stopped going to the swamp because they are shit. He also says that City currently are worse than the rags have ever been for tourists. It genuinely pisses him off cunts filming on their phones instead of watching the game.

A lot of the tourists have stopped going to the swamp but they still fill the shithole every game.
Would that happen at City?

Can't argue with any of this....

Erm not going to lie, It's sad watching that, Sums up how I feel and I how we all feel I presume, It's shit.

Not going to beat around the bush, I said on here after the Brighton games, I felt out of place at the game, It felt like it's not my club anymore and I was in a zone at the game in which I couldn't have gave a fuck if we'd be beaten 10-0, I had absolutely no emotion for what was going on the pitch.

That day and that game hit home for me, It's something that's been bubbling inside me for a long time and that day it clicked that I might not ever go back, The only thing making me go back is my daughter loves City and attending games, Other than that I genuinely wouldn't be going anymore.

A Matchday these days is fucking abysmal, No craic anymore at games, No craic before games, It's something of nothing really...

Big Steve is correct, It's only going to get worse, The club doesn't give a fuck about any of us and that's the harsh reality of it.

Maybe Big Steve should run for the next General Secretary of the Manchester City FC Official Supporters Club(OSC)?

Big Steve couldn't do any worse than the current incumbent.

He'd certainly support City fans much more in public.

Banner for the Leicester game

VIAGOGO FUCK YOURSELVES CITY
Going by the amount of tickets left for the game there won't be anybody to hold up a banner.

Hopefully more people don't turn up, Myself and daughter were due to go but we are giving it a miss. She has football training herself that night and that's more important.

City can go fuck themselves.

I live in Leeds. My daughter and I go to every home game. We often get back home between 11:30pm and midnight for evening games. She’s got school the next day and I’ve got work so it’s a real effort for midweeks. I’ve contemplated boycotting this one but we’ve moved seats into the 1894 singing section so want give the team our support.

My mate who sits next to me lives in London/Sussex and he’s a season ticket holder who comes up for most home games on the train.

We’re all willing to miss the first 9 or 15 minutes but not the full game. Were want to get behind the players and the manager.

I can completely understand your beliefs in getting behind the players and the manager, They deserve backing for all they've done for us and that should work both ways.

I can also see other fans point of view in which the ones that aren't attending, I think the club are getting what they want from it as you can see a divide from fans and somewhat turning on one another unfortunately.

The club need to get their act together and sort this ticketing shit out. Although they won't because they couldn't give a fuck, Hence why I also don't give a fuck and not going the game.

Hopefully you and the daughter don't miss any goals and they start flying in around the 15th minute.

He's a joke. Coward, self serving. Was rotten when he ran the ticket office, it's just carried on now. All the sycophants underneath him are as bad.

What about the SC rep. Her twitter has nothing on it, she doesn't post on here either. Just what is she doing / saying for the 30k she represents??

Only found about the protest via the BBC today. It'll have my support but wonder if we can get a sticky or something else here. But I admittedly spend too much of my day here.

I liked Big Steve’s video but wasn’t he getting sponsored by a rival ticket agency a few weeks ago. This might be mistaken identity and you were right to lionise Big Steve.

On a wider point, I am glad the Vianogo rebellion is getting national coverage. The Directors have gone too far.

I deplore this deal with Viagogo, but I honestly don't think this has been well thought through.

This is a midweek match against Leicester when we are no longer in the title race.

The chances are that there will be 5,000 or more people who have tickets that will not turn up.

It's also a 7.45pm kick off for a game that a lot of people who are turning up for will not be breaking their backs to get into early.

There is a very strong possibility that there will be 10,000 empty seats at kick off, decreasing to about 5,000 ten minutes in, in any case.

Also, what crowd noise was there ever likely to be in the first ten minutes of this game?

How will the club even know there is a protest?

I'm not against a protest, but surely the point of one is to actually make it visible and effective. This is neither.
Lol - I’ve been to many a midweek games in title races and it’s been dead as a dodo.

The 9 minutes represents the 9 online ticket touting companies City are using.

It was chosen for that reason.

I think as a first step this is quite a good idea and tying it in with the number 9 makes it clear what it's about.

If there was good take up, you could then consider 9 minutes before the end and then heading round to the main entrance for a protest. With the numbers who naturally leave before the end it wouldn't take that much to replicate the Lazio photo. Ultimately it's battle for the soul and future direction of the club so I don't think missing a few minutes for a couple of games is an unreasonable ask. Could end up with regular after match protests outside the main entrance like the 80s and 90s.

Wasn't one of the few recent successful protests the scousers leaving after 77 minutes over £77 tickets - does anyone know how many left? Was it hundreds or thousands?
