Newcastle United 2024/25

Probably said many times but if a sheikh had bought the rags instead of the scruff then there would be no mention of dirty oil money.
The worrying thing is, if the rags had been bought by a third party from the Middle East, it would have meant aligning ourselves with them against the rest of the Premier League.

The thought makes me shudder.

Got to feel for the Toon Army. We know how this will play out.

Absolutely couldn’t give a fuck.

In terms of football this week, I have just been enjoying content of our cup win, watching how people celebrated, what it means to people, and trying to get info about our celebrations.
Fortunately my Apple News feed this week has helped me stay away from cunts like him.

Is the correct answer.

Let’s see how you feel in 2040, when they’ve been at it for 15 years and see how your tolereance levels are!

Anyone watching Sky news and the reporting on Newcastle?

The Sky bloke, what a bell end.

Apparently, everyone in Newcastle supports them. Well yes, now they are doing well they are capturing the new fans in their 1 team city.

However, this was not always the case and during the 90's the place was full of Rags, and Dippers the decades before.

The Sky bloke also said, I've always wanted to be a Newcastle fan!

What a load of shite.

Don't mind Newcastle but why make them out to be something they are aren't and why the difference in reporting compared to us?

Yep in the 80s worked with a couple of dipper fans who were from Newcastle

Rumours of Isak going to Liverpool and Newcastle getting Nunez and cash in return.
Fucking hell if true ha

I knew a lad who lived on Hillock Estate and supported the Red Dippers. I also recall a couple of lads at school who supported fucking Spurs. I could never get my head around that. Rags or one of the other local teams like Oldham or Bury, fair play. But Liverpool? Spurs? How would you ever feel comfortable standing with a Manc accent among that lot?

I know they’ve finally won a trophy & so glad they beat the victims, but fuck me sky sports coverage of an open top party for the carabao cup, really???
Why not?!?

Good on em i say, they finally achieved a bit of success n thus should be able to revel in it in as many ways afforded.

Also puts their 'brand' in good stead moving on...

If a team lifted the FA Vase Trophy or the Johnstone Paint Trophy n got shown live on tele / internet whilst showing it off on open top bus -- fantastic, too.

I know loads of Liverpool locally. Glory hunters from the 70s and 80s.

What it's all about. For every fan in the football pyramid whether it's Mossley Town or Manchester City. Winning a trophy and celebrating it.

Christ, when I had to drag my lad to Maine Road in the 90's to watch the match we never thought we'd see us winning anything in my lifetime.

Always gets a mention would Wigan have given up winning that FA Cup against us to tread water in the PL for 10 years? I very much doubt it
