President Trump

Disaster in DC Appeals court, which has just supported Trump in his attempt to hobble two boards which protect federal workers and others. In doing this they have ignored all precedent.
Appeal to SCOTUS is inevitable.

Two Executive Orders issued this week targeting Law firms have been suspended by temporary stay orders today. The ‘communistic’ judges whom Trump thinks should be impeached were both appointed by George W Bush. The DoJ lawyer in one case was asked by the judge if he thought the executive order, which bars lawyers from entering a courthouse, might inhibit clients. He said he couldn’t comment on that. The judge was incredulous and humiliated the DoJ lawyer by asking him if he actually practised law.
The battle to preserve the rule of law from Trump’s constant attacks continues.

The lunatics have taken over - burger and fries is a vaccine/cure. Hey - ho at least it will wheedle out and eliminate the dumbest of them

“I’m a firm believer that President Trump will run and win again in 2028, so I’ve already endorsed President Trump,” Bannon said during an interview with NewsNation host Chris Cuomo. “A man like this comes along once every century if we’re a little lucky. We’ve got him now. He’s on fire, and I’m a huge supporter. I wanna see him again in 2028.”

Where’s Fabrizio when we need him???
There's every chance that Bannon is right - that is, in 2028, Trump will win reelection to a 3rd term - constitution be damned, actual voting results irrelevant.

The survival of Democracy in America is on a knife's edge, and currently the wolves own both the Executive and the Legislative branches of government. And hold strong sway in the Judicial.

He'll be almost 83 and he's already almost incoherent
First of all, genetics plays a key role in predicting how long one will survive. And both of Trump's parents survived far longer than average (his Dad died at age 93, his mom at age 88).

Secondly, the take that Trump is incoherent/suffering from dementia/whatever - is frankly projection. I see no cognitive decline in Trump whatsoever.

It's extremely likely that Trump is both alive and cogent (at least insofar as he's ever been) in 2028.

The nomination phase is both long and potentially litigious. They are lining up to replace him. Heck, the grift might even be complete by then, too!

If he's doing all this with a clear mind we've got a big problem.

Who are lining up to oppose Trump, as leader of the MAGA party?

I agree that there's a constitutional obstacle which point blank makes a Trump run for President in 2028 unconstitutional - but what of it? Do the courts have enough stomach/incentive/inclination to oppose a third Trump term? Or has MAGA succeeded in pacifying the Judicial too? Beats me.

I think SCOTUS realizes they are the last best hope and, so far, with the exception of Alito and Thomas, have stepped up. Whether that continues remains to be seen.

As for the “Leader of MAGA,” I’m not sure anyone needs to try to position themselves that way, as Trump will have already declared victory! The M part will be history and the AGA part will have already come too fruition…amirite?!!

Meanwhile, Maga is doing their best to fix the electorate with gerrymandering, nonsensical challenges to voters, adding ludicrous conditions to registration and voting, and other scams.

Republicans being Republicans.
Yes, but some of it goes above and beyond. For example, military personnel who are registered in their home state but who serve abroad are being challenged on residency grounds.
