FA Cup SF Draw | Nott'm Forest | Sun 27 April 16:30 | ITV1

Hard to imagine that in the previous three decades, we had a grand total of zero Wembley appearances. From the Spurs replay in May 1981 up to the rags s/f in April 2011. Unless I've forgotten one, of course.

Not counting the Full Members' Cup in '86, by the way!
I know, back in the day 80s 90 and early 2000s , we used to be in the Gardners or Osbourne pre match , chatting and just wishing we could get to one semi final !!

Our semifinal turnouts and atmospheres have been quite poor in recent years.

Hopefully with a new team we’ve not faced at Wembley before who’ll be proper up for it, it might make a few more Blues go who haven’t done for a while for the semis.

Brighton, Liverpool, SheffUtd and Chelsea were poor occasions for either numbers or atmosphere, or both.

Also with no CL games to contend with, might make it more attractive to some

I just think after this seasons trials and tribulations you’ll get loads of old time blues wanting to do the day out.
Creating a superb atmosphere along the way.
I’ve had messages off 3 or 4 pals already that, as season ticket holders, haven’t done the last two semi’s, saying that they’re going to this one.
Come on you blue boys.

wembley semi fnals will always put some off, even more so with the expense the last few years have brought with so mamy finals :-) I know a few who have missed the last 2 and I never went to chelsea last year, due to financial constriants

Already doing Everton the week before but plan on going still, If we make the final I will have to bin off Fulham though, London 3 times in 5 week itsn't doable for me

Semi finals should not be at Wembley. Supporters taken for granted and ripped off to boot. I will be watching it on the telly;-)
I do agree with that. It takes the shine off the final having the semis at Wembley.

What doesn’t help is the pitiful size of the Midlands clubs’ stadiums. They don’t make it a viable option to stage them there. Due to that, I reckon the semis should be at Cardiff. And leave Wembley special for the final.

But the team still need supporting.

We’ve lost 3 of our 6-in-a-row semis. I don’t want to make it 4 because we have another lacklustre City end while Forest’s end will be rabid.

Crickey, when did they go on sale?
Our new global partner Viagogo put them on.

i think that is more hope than likelyhood but you never know. I might go and haven’t been to a semi final since we lost to Arsenal in ET.
