This is a great listen and how Trump just wants bigger headlines every time trying to outdo the last one, that’s why he says so much shit.

He can't change the terms because it s prohibited by the Constitution under the 22nd Amendment.
He's trying to pull a sly trick by challenging the wording of the constitution which states that he can't be elected for a third term.
He's said one method in which a third term could be possible is by Vice President JD Vance running for office and then handing the responsibility over to him. He refused to share details on other methods he claims exist.

The Iron Curtain came down, the USSR crumpled and Russia had free elections. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as the evil empire was gone.
Then, the clever crooks got very very rich, Putin was elected and supported his very rich chums.
Putin then changed the constitution so that they still have free and fair elections, it's just that he wins every time.

The US are mirroring that right now. Musk an unelected billionaire is running Federal Government and Trump has talked about amending the constitution.
He still does not accept losing last time saying it was rigged. There is no way he is walking out in 4 years time

People need to wake up to the fact that the things they previously took for granted, including the overwhelmingly immutable nature of the US Constitution, are on rapidly shifting sands - and the sooner they wake up to that, the better.

That centuries old no longer fit for purpose document they either swear upon and live by when it suits, or all work around and amend as an outdated piece of history when it also suits? Yeah, that one. The 'constitution'. Meaningless
 
Currently, to change the Constitution it matters that he has both houses - he needs a majority of 2/3rd of each house, I'm betting £20.00 that after Nov 2026 he'll have neither.

He also has to have ratification by 3/4 of the States. Again the Blue states will ensure that he doesn't get it.

But I suppose that he could always suspend the Constitution.
