For all three of them it is their first semi-final in a long time (9,10, 34 years to be exact) they will sell out - they will all have fans coming out of the woodwork. This is their big chance to win a trophy and all three have enough local support to get excited about it.

For us, it is different. I'm due to be on holiday that weekend - and in previous years I've worked the holiday around being in London. 14 years ago for a trip I'd given up hoping we would make there was nothing getting in the way.
But for various reasons this time that is awkward and so I'm not even trying to work things around - I shall watch on television and hope to be there for a final. I doubt I will be alone in doing that - the novelty has worn off.

We sold out last year against Chelsea, even increasing our allocation from about 34000 to 37000

Travelling back to Manchester on the train after losing the FA Cup Final to Man Utd was horrendous.

Along with taking our foot off their throats in 2013/14, this has been the biggest fuck up since the takeover. I can't believe the players couldn't wait another 6 days to go on the piss. The beginning of the rot.

When was the last time we didn’t sell out a semi? I think it was Liverpool but that was due to no trains and it being played on Easter weekend. We should piss selling this one out with all of our “new” fans.

I still haven't got over the manner in which we gave them that trophy. Those players should be ashamed. I know it was flecking brilliant to win 4 consecutive pl titles, but surely the chance of a double double could have restrained them from drinking too much and just holding on for a week. That result got the Rags in Europe and in all probability the chance of another European trophy for them when it is not deserved.

Even beating them in the Charity Shield didn't repair the damage inflicted by ourselves with that shameful display. Only Doku came out of that with any grace.
