FA Cup SF Draw | Nott'm Forest | Sun 27 April 16:30 | ITV1

If you had the choice. Would you rather finish outside the top 5 and win the Fa cup or lose to forest and finish top 5
Has to be top 5, regardless of what anyone would like. A club at the level we are operating at simply cannot be out of the CL (no matter how much some fans hate it). Being out the competition can easily start a snowball effect, for qualification the next season. I'm not saying I don't want to win the FA cup, but in terms of priority order for top teams, it can't come above being in the champions league.

We sold out last year against Chelsea, even increasing our allocation from about 34000 to 37000
Wembley trips will always be ok now due to the tourists that will fill the empties. Rare occasion they come in handy as legacy fans alone would not sell the semi out. Last year was tourist town, our row apart from us was a Chinese family at their first football game. Fair play they got involved and was cheering a city win on

In 1999 we hadnt been for years, 2013 we took close on 60k I think, amazing that we cant sell out a semi without tourists but obvs its like a second home now. Maybe the fact its our only chance of a trophy might mean theres a bit more interest.

Forest, Palace and Villa its a big day out for them.

A big day out for most of the City fans as well.

It is but it is true, sheff united and brighton were far from sell outs. As you say when you are there more than once every season the novelty wears thin. There will be plenty of interest for a potential final, semis we will struggle without our tourists.

I was at Orient and Bournemouth but I won't be attending the Semi Final

For a start it shouldn't be at Wembley as it just makes the whole day too long. Fair enough for the Final, but not twice in a short space of time.

Its also getting later and later each year and shouldn't be clashing with the cricket season.
I've been involved with cricket since the 70s and this was never a problem until recently

I also find it utterly ridiculous that fans of all clubs are moaning about ticket prices but don't seem to have a problem with an unnecessary trip to Wembley and all the expense involved

I find it utterly ridiculous that the cricket season gets a mention.lol.

When was the last time we didn’t sell out a semi? I think it was Liverpool but that was due to no trains and it being played on Easter weekend. We should piss selling this one out with all of our “new” fans.
I think we have only sold out 2.
Rags in 2011 and chelsea last year.

That’s more to do with the cricket season starting earlier these days than football finishing later, isn’t it?
