And I bet nearly as many again simply won't turn up without listing their tickets.Currently 3,263 showing as available on the site for Wednesday - a few thousand blues joining in will make this really noticeable

Erm...the game is on Wednesday. Not sure what you guys achieved but I saw nothing, heard nothiing of it on the telly and radio. Might be just me I suppose.
The food and drink will be delivered by an external contract. City probably don’t make anything from each individual pie or pint sale. But if sales are down in time for the next contract renewal that’s when it would impact. It would have to be concerted effort over multiple games not just a one off. I hope the fans protesting don’t go for an extra pint in those 9 minutes.Simplest alternative which would support the players but hit those in charge of finances would be to boycott all merchandise on Wednesday. No programmes, no food or drink, avoid the club shop.
That would have a huge impact as they’d lose revenue and also have goods that are no longer of any use to them as the next home game is 10 days after.
I don’t want this to sound like criticism as you clearly recognise all of the issues being protested, but you don’t you want to do anything - even a minor thing like missing 9 minutes of a game - to display your dissatisfaction. How do you think positive change will come about?Whilst I respect and indeed share some of the opinions of the fan groups, I won’t be taking part in the protest.
Each to their own is my view. If you want to stay on the concourse then you’re perfectly entitled to, if you want to take your seat, likewise.
We could end up, in fact we’re already on the way, with a completely divided fan base just at a time when the players/managers need us on the pitch and the Club needs us off it.
The red shirt fawning media will be reading this thread, looking on social media and rubbing their grubby hands together.
Hopefully the Club are transparent and lay their cards down on the table very soon, whether through City Matters, other fan groups or directly to all members and season ticket holders and then we can have a more informed conversation around,
- season ticket pricing 25/26
- third party ticket sales
- club allocated tickets for home and away games
- new North Stand pricing and consequences for existing NS season ticket holders and potential new season ticket holders
To name but a few of the ticketing issues that are currently ongoing.
In the meantime I’ll carry on cheering on the boys in blue, loud and proud, just as always.

It’s Leicester at home - not exactly a Derby is itFuck that, might miss 2 goals
If the club were that bothered they will do the decent thing and treat the fans with dignity and respect. It’s the club who have allowed the current situation to fester. Don’t blame the fans. We don’t want to do this but feel it’s a last resort that we have to.The thing that is beginning to worry me at present is that the press have taken it up and I have no trust in the media whatever.
Have they taken it up because they have observed how fractionised the protest is becoming, how it is dividing the fan base? Leaving the media waiting with bated breath for it to be a damp squib?
I do not want it to be a damp squib obviously (whatever @Damocles thinks of me) but I am wary these days of the British press. Sorry :-)
Guarantee loads will, they’ll be stood on the concourse having an additional beer not realising that it goes against what we all want to get across. The food and drink will be delivered by an external contract. It doesn’t have to be and until recently it hasn’t felt that way. The last 5 years in particular the relationship between club and fans has altered. It was unfortunately inevitable; if you celebrated any of the success that the Sheikh subsidised over the past 17 years, you can’t then complain about the erosion of the unique identity the club had, because the organic Manchester City most of us grew up a part of, and the recent monopoly of English football are very much mutually exclusive.
Depends how well we defendFuck that, might miss 2 goals

By protesting around a clear list of demands related to ticket pricing. Viagogo for hospitality, or 'We want our City back' do not motivate me.I don’t want this to sound like criticism as you clearly recognise all of the issues being protested, but you don’t you want to do anything - even a minor thing like missing 9 minutes of a game - to display your dissatisfaction. Agree, BUT it’s got to start somewhere and hopefully, it will strike a chord now, whilst people still remember or are bothered :0)I’m all in favour of an organised protest against some of the club’s actions regarding ticketing recently, and will probably participate. Does feel a little bit rushed and ill-thought out to me though if I’m being honest. The impact will be minimal imo just because many people turn up late to midweek games anyway due to work/traffic, and it’s a game that will be relatively poorly attended. It’s not a high profile game and whilst I get the significance of 9 minutes, it doesn’t feel like a big enough statement. Also don’t feel like it’s been communicated particularly well either. Hope I’m wrong, but guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Ah well thats good. I'll watch out for it on Wed insteadErm...the game is on Wednesday.
Do you think Leicester will score so early?
The club have been sent a letter that they haven’t yet responded to. I will await that response knowing that this very week Danny Wilson will be asked direct questions about such matters during at least one OSC meeting that I am aware of.I don’t want this to sound like criticism as you clearly recognise all of the issues being protested, but you don’t you want to do anything - even a minor thing like missing 9 minutes of a game - to display your dissatisfaction. Maybe it is only a start, but as @Corky posted earlier a list of what different fans don't like doesn't help.People need to know exactly what is wanted from the club a realistic list that the club may talk about and accept, not just 'we want out City back' slogans that mean different things to different fans.Agree, BUT it’s got to start somewhere and hopefully, it will strike a chord now, whilst people still remember or are bothered :0)
And hopefully, it can be built upon, from its small beginnings??!!
With better and bigger ideas??
Some noted in this thread
It’s just a START, not the END OF IT!!!
I am sure all support will be welcomed :0)
