Full of energy and enthusiasm but he looked utterly shot at the end of the game, I do wonder if Ramadan was the cause?

I don't think we will see the best of Omar until next season, but I think that he will be an absolute diamond, especially if we can find a midfielder willing and able to play fast and direct passes to take advantage of his consistent running off the ball. Next season, we will have to find more variety in our play, combining the possession based game with a willingness to play direct when the opportunity allows. Otherwise, the talented teams who have developed low-block tactics to cope with opponents who rely on possession will continue to exploit us.

Just the pace of the game, and also the physical side of it which will take it out of anyone coming from another league, especially midway through a season.

I've got him and Nico down as being different players going into next season, no disrespect meant to what they've shown so far, just don't think we've seen the best of either just yet.

He made lots of decent runs into the box yesterday and in fairness Gundo and others tried to find him but the penalty box was clogged. Against less negative teams, those runs will pay off - as we saw against Newcastle

To be he just looks an all round, really good attacking player.

Which is kind of exactly what we needed.

Finger crossed he'll only improve.

I guess some would say we had that in Alvarez but I don't think so.

Alvarez was a pretty decent goal scorer when we played well, but I don't think he's particularly difficult to defend against. Defences could have a fairy comfortable game against him.

I think Marmoush and his movement and pace is more of a headache for them. Give him the same amount of games as Alvarez and I reckon he does a similar amount of goals but will probably improve our overall attacking play.

Maybe an upgrade on Alvarez isn't the right way to put it as it remains to be seen, but id say he's the kind of player we need more than Alvarez, if he keeps performing at a good level

He looks good for 15-20 goals per season from the left wing and inside left channel. Fine by me.

That's what Mahrez was for us. And incredible goal scoring winger. Something we have missed greatly ever since we sold him.

If he can chip in with some assists and we are cooking on gas with Marmoush. One of the best signings we will have made in last 5 years or so if he can do that.

He has made a healthy start. His movement and control are great. A more direct midfielder able to release accurate early passes will turn him into something special.
