Roll call for 9 minute protest

I think this protest is the most braindead idea anyone has ever come up with.

You are looking at 20-30 mins of disruption, as people try and get to their seats. It's bad enough when people turn up late.
Anyone thought about what will happen if City get a penalty or score a goal in the 9th minute? Or there is an emergency in the crowd?

I fully support the sentiment. I fully endorse reasonable action and protest. But I will never agree to an action that places stress and unknowns into crowd management at times when the stadium is not designed to cope with them.
Come on! disgruntled fans have reached a tipping point , it might not be the best action to get to hammer the point home but the fan groups have been very proactive and I’m all for it, it stinks what the club are doing, we have already had some publicity so it’s a step in the right direction . Just 1 game doing this shouldn’t be too much of a burden for everyone .

The clubs attitude was summed up by Pep in the pre match Leicester press conference.

They asked him his thoughts on the whole situation around ticketing and general issue of pricing?

His answer, Leicester are so so tough we need the fans!

Regardless. Protests like this are essential. The club can’t keep ignoring it. Just have to be persistent in protesting, it is the only way forward.

Gotta love Pep.
Yes and no. Yes because he’s acknowledged something because he’s asked a question. No, because he himself can get involved and intervene in the situation. He sees everything, he’s seen and noted the atmosphere this season, he’s involved in all the important decision making around the club, why not get involved in the bit that directly affects fans?

As the season ticket prices haven't been announced before tonight's protest, I think we can safely assume they are increasing for everyone.

I think he might have enough on his plate at the moment.

Even though I don’t attend games anymore (well not as much as I’d like) . As my previous posts health matters etc daughters off to Uni etc financial etc , trust me I’ve put the yards in back in the day.
A big thank you from for making a stand .
Well done to you all who think about others .

That's it in a nutshell, trying to care for others and the future, even though atm some of us can absorb an increase, as unwelcome as it is if it happens. You'll always get the apathetic, the "We should be grateful", the piss takers and the I'm alright Jack brigade. Fuck them, the working class would have got nowhere with that attitude.
In a personal note I hope you're doing okay.

Since 2017 we’ve had 6 price increases. And for every fan since Covid who have hit their tolerance limit, their season tickets have been turned into tickets bought from ticket tout sites bought by people who may or may not have any interest in City and have no membership even if they are City fans.

Busted!

Like I told you, Soriano, CEO, runs the club.

Hypothetical scenario.

Soriano to Khaldoon.

If you don't let me run City my way, like I ran Barcelona, I will go back to Barcelona, and you can find City a new CEO.

Either way, this is a massive revelation, if true?

Very interesting indeed. And while that doesn’t totally absolve Khaldoon of blame, it shows he was aware of the issue of price increases as far back as 8 years ago and seemed sympathetic towards the fans.
They aren't board meeting minutes, it is written in a jackanory style by a 13 year old.
So is he saying he didn't want it to happen but doesn't have enough influence at the club to stop it? Absolutely bollocks he can veto any decision he want if he is against it enough
Agree there looks fake. He repeats the exact words and no one takes any notice of him. No agenda items either, a hatchet job , to make the Chairman look a very ineffective leader who babbles on and gets ignored.
