Roll call for 9 minute protest

I think this protest is the most braindead idea anyone has ever come up with.

You are looking at 20-30 mins of disruption, as people try and get to their seats. It's bad enough when people turn up late.
Anyone thought about what will happen if City get a penalty or score a goal in the 9th minute? Or there is an emergency in the crowd?

I fully support the sentiment. I fully endorse reasonable action and protest. But I will never agree to an action that places stress and unknowns into crowd management at times when the stadium is not designed to cope with them.
Not sure how walking to your seat can take 20-30 minutes. It doesn’t take 20-30 minutes for the entire ground to empty at full time. I worry about the brain capacity of people on here sometimes.

I wouldn't want to be around if you ever stubbed your toe.

Just another note. My foreign commentary was up to date with the 9 min protest stuff and gave it great coverage without bias or malice. They explained the empty seats etc. What a refreshing change from SKY/TNT.

Clear visual impact and the foreign comms team did a good job of saying what was going on. Can just imagine the snide remarks Sky would have been coming out with. I think this could become a regular thing until the tout sites are fucked off, if it helps us keep scoring early aswell all the better!

302 and there was a brief chant as you arrived then the usual apathy, where are the chants referring to why you actually arrived late? ,
ha ha, behave

splitting hairs and now moaning that we are not singing anti club songs and slagging the club now we are back in our seats/standing

admit it you and few others dimissed this as going to be a failure with hardly any one joining in and were proved wrong, at least half the south stand and hundreds round the ground were absent for the 9 minutes

8-9 thousand stayed out.

Thousands around the ground.

Don't play it down mate. :-)

Posters like Uwerosler have been proven wrong, but he will still try and make out the protest didn't have an impact and failed.

Tonight has been a success. Don't let any other forum member try and tell us otherwise.

What did you want them to chant?

“Ticket prices are out of control, too many tourists are getting into the home end at the Etihad and the away end at away games, people who join the membership scheme the day before the Champions League semi final are as likely to get tickets as those who went to York City away, and now they’re using Viagogo to flog tickets and we want it to stop!” ???

Give your head a wobble mate and have a lie down.
