GW33 , double game for City and Arsenal. Lovely for a free hit.

And still I have 3 players with issues.
I always avoid 4 point hits. I don't think you generally make it back. But a dble game week might be the exception.Nightmare, i've taken a 4 point hit every game week, it means i pretty much have a strong 11 each time, however when it's a low scoring week that 4 points does hit a bit, but i'm up to 4th in my 20 league and pretty sure everyone above me has used up all their tokens now.

When you play it and select the 1st manager there is no cost in terms of transfer.Question for managers that have used the AssMan chip (token)
If you use no transfers on players in a GW but play the AssMan chip only, does that count as a squad transfer or can you carry two free player transfers for the next game-week (GW)?
If it carries, I'll play the AssMan during GW31-33 and deal with Gabriel in GW32.
So much of the game is about luck. You can plan ahead all you want then bang, a few injuries and all plan's are out of the window.I had banked a load of transfers ready for the blanks and dble game weeks ahead. I've used them all last 2 weeks because of injuries.

I think most players are looking at similar issues. With the DGWs coming up, I went big on Arsenal, Palace and City players. 3 from each of them (Verbruggen and Salah the only "outsiders" in my starting XI). Played my wildcard to get those players in. Among those sold were Elanga and Mbuemo, who both scored, of course. Brought in Gabriel, who's now out for the season. Timber with a knee injury;Isak with a groin injury now; 75% chance of him playing against Everton tomorrow lunchtime. Isak with a groin injury; also down as a 75% chance of him playing on monday night, apparently. Laughable.
Have taken a -4 this weekend. Bought in Konsa for Gabriel, and the hairstyle from Chelsea for Bednarek (potential cover if Timber doesn't make it for tomorrow).
Konsa doubles GW33.Strange choices again, both got tough games and no double game weeks coming up.
Not that strange a choice then?Konsa doubles GW33.

The consensus on here was to load up with Palace, Arsenal, City and Villa players as they all have DGWs coming up. Which is what I did. 3 from each of the first three, along with Verbruggen and Salah. So far, it hasn't paid off. But I wasn't to know that last monday. Arsenal were at home to Fulham, Palace playing Saints and we had Leicester. Guaranteed points, surely? Seems not. The easiest fixtures don't always turn out to be easy. Try to remember that. It’s not but he’s likely to concede 3 out 4 next games - similar to those Brighton players you bought in a couple weeks ago that have done nothing.
You should aim for the easiest fixtures for players - well, that’s what I try do anyway
Which brings us to exhibit A, Everton with 0.26 xG in open or set play. Loading up on Arse defense was clearly the right call on that one.The easiest fixtures don't always turn out to be easy.
It's annoying. Muniz scored a late goal during the week, denying me 4 clean sheet bonus points for Saliba. And today, as you said, Lewis Skelly had a brainfart, which cost me another 4 clean sheet pts for Saliba. Add to that City clocking out at HT against Leicester, and Salah only scoring 3 pts against Everton in a supposedly "easy" game What the fuck are you supposed to do?Which brings us to exhibit A, Everton with 0.26 xG in open or set play. Loading up on Arse defense was clearly the right call on that one.
But the algorithm wasn't aware that Lewis-Skelly would do something stupid and draw a pen just inside the top of the box for Everton and throw it all out the window.
At least it ended in a draw for them after that disaster of a play, because they didn't deserve to win after letting that happen.
