I thought Nico and Grealish would play but you can kinda understand Pep going with the team that produced the goods at Bournemouth. And in fairness, Bernardo, Gundogan and Kovacic all had decent-good games there after everyone predicted doom when the side was announced.

Pep thinks this is the best ball retention team - and I suspect Nico not selected as Pep is not convincedwith him on that score. We have seen that a bit - at Orient and also Leicester late in the game for instance

I get your sentiment but Bournemouth were hardly in great form at the time.

My point is just that I don't get people being caught off guard by the line-up. We played very well last weekend, perhaps our best away performance of the season, so he's just stuck with the same team that played well (apart from O'Reilly for Khusa and Marmoush for Haaland).

We've not had many dominant performances this season, we finally get one and everybody seems to want us to then make 11 changes. That would frankly be daft to me. Keep what's working, and change if you need to change.
