Lineup doesn't really inspire much optimism in me.

All great players in their day but that midfield looks too old and slow now.

Happy to see O'Reilly given a chance. Glad Marmoush is on too although I worry about the level of service and support he'll receive.

Can't say he doesn't take derbies seriously. He definitely does. But his idea of a team that can deliver his expectations is way off reality at the moment.

I’m fine with the team selection, Savio has had about 2 decent games this year and Doku is gash.

Foden has had 0 this season, hope I am proven wrong.

The reality is we are a shadow of ourselves. 6/7 of the 11 of the team would never start in a Top 4 side. Shows how poor our recruitment has been and Pep’s loyalty to certain players who are sadly past their best. I can’t see how Nunes, Gundo, Kova, Bernardo, KdB and Sadly Foden get into a title winning side.

The only concern is gundogan gets 0 protection from kovacic. He's always running past gundogan. Unless we totally dominate the ball, kovacic is going to give up acres of space by being 5 metres away from where he should be on multiple occasions

I think I'm more angry that Foden gets a start.

There is nothing he has shown this season and certainly of late, to justify it.

The midfield just smacks of sentiment, which is why we are in this situation right now.

I agree. I've just been explaining the age thing to hub ( who doesn't really follow footy) as to why I am so annoyed at this selection when we have a youthful bench.
