Wasn’t always. Just physically is a complete shadow. Unless he miraculously gets back to be able to run again he’ll continue to look like a kid playing in the premier league

How is he not getting a shot off with that fluke of a chance?

Showed one second of the player he should be when he decided to shoot early in the game, the shot itself was poor but the intent was decent. the rest of the game he was anonymous.

Never wants to do the running in behind despite being one of the youngest and fastest on the pitch. He constantly wants the ball to feet and then doesn't do anything with it when he gets it.

His teammates must be getting seriously pissed off with him dropping in 2 yards from them to pick the ball up from them only to then pass it backwards, the player on the ball could do that and by doing that he's removed one forward passing option for the midfielders.

If there's something wrong with him, be it physical, mental or something outside of football then just give him the time off to sort it as he doesn't deserve a spot in the side at the minute and he's offering nothing anyway.

Thought exactly the same thing. He absolutely didn't need to take a touch, and he absolutely would not have taken a touch in happier times. He would have leathered it into the net. A man who has simply ceased to believe in himself.

Mate, he can’t run in behind anymore hence constantly showing for it short or to feet. Bizarrely at 24 the lad has lost all pace. It’s clear as day and it’s killing his game

I'm not sure that's due to a lack of pace, why run in behind when you know the ball will never come.

He's been far too comfortable at City, and needs to kick start his career elsewhere imo.

Last year, he buries that chance, though. Wrong sub for me.

I thought Pep should've taken Kev off, but Phil is so far off it that's it's become a big concern.

Not sure what the answer is tbh, but you'd be crazy to think this is just a 'season off' etc

He hasn't got the mentality and drive to be the main man, he needs top players around him at the top of their game

Moving him on sounds harsh, but we shouldn't be sentimental if things don't improve next season
