He needs a good rest..
Wasn’t always. Just physically is a complete shadow. Unless he miraculously gets back to be able to run again he’ll continue to look like a kid playing in the premier leagueFair weather system player, always has been always willing be.
Him not taking a shot first time on that ball that squeezed through to him was all I needed to see that his confidence is gone. How he gets it back, I have no clue. How is he not getting a shot off with that fluke of a chance?
Showed one second of the player he should be when he decided to shoot early in the game, the shot itself was poor but the intent was decent. the rest of the game he was anonymous.
Never wants to do the running in behind despite being one of the youngest and fastest on the pitch. He constantly wants the ball to feet and then doesn't do anything with it when he gets it.
His teammates must be getting seriously pissed off with him dropping in 2 yards from them to pick the ball up from them only to then pass it backwards, the player on the ball could do that and by doing that he's removed one forward passing option for the midfielders.
If there's something wrong with him, be it physical, mental or something outside of football then just give him the time off to sort it as he doesn't deserve a spot in the side at the minute and he's offering nothing anyway.

Miss the days he'd get the ball on the half turn and run at the defense. We also don't move the ball fast enough anymore so we let teams get set on defense that he doesn't have the space he's used to. Seems to be suffering from the tactics.
Mate, he can’t run in behind anymore hence constantly showing for it short or to feet. Bizarrely at 24 the lad has lost all pace. It’s clear as day and it’s killing his gameHow is he not getting a shot off with that fluke of a chance?

I'm not sure that's due to a lack of pace, why run in behind when you know the ball will never come.Mate, he can’t run in behind anymore hence constantly showing for it short or to feet. Bizarrely at 24 the lad has lost all pace. It’s clear as day and it’s killing his game
I thought Pep should've taken Kev off, but Phil is so far off it that's it's become a big concern.Despite what others said, I thought his effort was fine.
Last year, he buries that chance, though. Wrong sub for me.
Never thought I'd see 'one of our own' back out of tackles, and generally just be pushed about in a Derby of all gamesOne poor season it may have been, but if an offer over £50m came in for him, I honestly believe that the club should take it asap!
As the Specials said... "You've done too much, much to young..."
He's been far too comfortable at City, and needs to kick start his career elsewhere imo.
