Sorry, but this is a rinse and repeat type of posting after another rinse and repeat performance. We've known most of the following for a long time:-
Kova, Gundo and KDB should now be rarely used reserves. Similarly, Bernardo, sadly. The 1st 3 in particular offered nothing yesterday and unproductively lost the ball numerous times. It's the Premier League; no room for sentiment.
Grealish had performed well v Leicester and, again, a start was justified.
I'm sure many will have been mystified not only as to why Gonzales didn't start, but didn't appear at all as a sub.
Nunes was one of our better players yesterday - which doesn't say much - but in the end, he offers us nothing going forward, and is defensively weak; why wasn't Khusanov at right back? He's been our best defender for a month.
Doku had 2 of theirs booked within 5 minutes of coming on - that was in the 5 minutes when we managed to get the ball to him. He or Savinho should have started.
Presumably, O'Reilly was taken off because he's the youngest. Bringing on Lewis was laughable - again he offers us nothing, except more backwards, sideways, and then fall over.
Another lost opportunity to take 3 points from a mid table team.
Truth is, they were better than us. We've fallen very far indeed, and we won't make top 5 if Pep persists with this shite.
