President Trump

Whilst I hate Trump and his whole administration, there are so many reasons………..
Is there anyone here that supports the way England has been turned into the society that it is now, do you feel enriched by the influx of different cultures and religions ?

If the last few years have taught us anything, it's that free trade is generally good for the economy. Obviously it has to be implemented in a way that protects existing industry, and doesn't cause a race to the bottom in things like regulation, but overall, it leads to prosperity. The UK is in a situation where successive governments have basically had their hands tied. They have been fucked by Brexit and are politically in a position where not only can they not do anything about it, but they can't even mention that that's the cause. We've got a situation where the two biggest parties both know that being in the EU is good for the country, but both have to pretend to think the opposite.
Someone does need to tell the truth about brexit though.
Starmer would go up a lot in my estimation were he to do so.

The UK is a product of centuries of immigration: The Beaker People (one for Stewart Lee fans), Celts, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, Normans, Huguenots, Irish, Jews, South Asians, Caribbeans, East Africans, Eastern Europeans, each wave bringing language, food, values, labour, and belief systems.

Culture has never been static, it’s built through movement, diversity, and adaptation. Immigration hasn’t weakened the nation’s identity, it’s the reason it has one.

I do like this quote about current British views on immigration:

"The British are the only people who drive a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then go home, sit on Swedish furniture, eat Indian food, and watch American shows on a Japanese TV, all the while being suspicious of anything foreign"

A lovely quote, thankyou.
So, you’re all good with the Status Quo.
It was just a curiosity, I’m glad everything is good.

Do you believe in multiculturalism?
Generally yes.
It would be a far more peaceful world, I believe, if people had some awareness of other nations cultures and traditions.
Free speech is one of our, British, traditions which I feel is being sidelined and overwhelmed by certain groups in our society.
Bring back HONESTY!

"Our British traditions"

In multiculturalism there is no "our".

Just a potpourri of cultures, none of them "our".

When you state "our" what are you referring to?
