The Chants Against Foden's Mum

Does the chant bother me? Not really

But it is the behaviour of utter pondlife and i wouldnt have stood there joining in because im not a ****.
All these terry ten mens saying it was worse in the 80s. Maybe. But the behaviour of fans, parents and coaches way down to grass roots is getting worse and it makes me cringe.

I coach a lowe level u10s team. I had to have a word with an opposition coach a few weeks ago about him berating the 15 year old ref.
On saturday i watched my local cheshire league team. Coach was sent off for calling the ref a “fucking spastic”.

Honestly, if you would stand there and sing “your mum is a slag” then its says more about you than me

Not having a dig blue.
For my two peneth your mum is your mum and comes before all other women for me calling someone's mum a slag is about as low as it gets
"Gary Neville and his brother
Make love to one another
They love to shag their mother
The Neville family"

I've been at away games where the majority of our fans were singing the above. What United fans were singing about Foden and his mum on Sunday wasn't nice at all but I'm not going to get too precious about it when I consider what we've sang in the past is every bit as bad

Not being precious mate just don't think it's right no matter who sings it

What about someones wife? Daughter? Not as low?

They could stamp it out, make everyone in the crowd only sing nice songs I suppose.

We are heading for a very stale atmosphere at PL football.

People can shout about the game being soft all they like. This sort of thing is going to be stamped out eventually to a point where people are banned from grounds, irrespective of what people think of it. Falls under sexism and it's been raised previously in regards to Vardy and his family.

When was the last time Beckham played for Man United? My case in point, those reminiscing of similar chants to Sunday have to go back 22 years ago.

"Chelsea Rent Boy" can be argued to not be homophobic but rather a joke about prostitution yet the PL banned it, do people see the slippery slope?
