Can’t remember the last time I have seen two free kicks scored from the same player in a game. And certainly on the rare occasions I may have, likely neither one would have been close to the quality of either. They were both perfect.

The first one is surely one of the best free kicks ever. The prodigious bend in the flight of the ball is outrageous

100% spot on mate. I had no issue with villa fans at Wembley either. No more than any other team anyway. Everyone just hates everyone else. I’m not jealous about Arsenal tonight at all. Fair play to them. We’ve been there and now we’re shit. Was always going to happen. It’ll be fun rebuilding. Some of their fans are unbearable twats but there’s a fair few on here just as bad.

Whilst Arsenal played well, Madrid were dire, we scored 3 past them over 2 legs, they are a poor team when compared to previous seasons. Nowhere near at the same level as when we beat them on our way to winning the treble.

I don’t get this dislike of Villa. I had absolutely no trouble with any of them at that final and never had any trouble at Villa Park except for the infamous West Midlands police taking the piss. Oddly I had two run ins with Watford knobs at that final but that’s not made me wage a campaign of hate against Elton John.

I think it’s fair to say that every club including our own has a minority of cunts as does every shop and business and gathering of people anywhere. People are people the world over.
