Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

Not sure you need it, but a word of advice from this know-nowt.

Don't let them do the politicians trick of a follow up meeting under the cloak of an NDA without minutes of the first meeting, followed by a third meeting with no communication until the fan base loses interest.

The momentum is with the fans at the moment. It won't be that way forever .....

I know, as I am sure you do, how cunts in management can delay things until they fizzle out.

The issue of pricing for next season can't just fizzle out as they have to announce ST and match-day prices some time.
However I accept stuff relating to touting partners may fizzle out.

I don’t think they ever announce match day prices do they?

Probably because they never seem to stay the same for more than five minutes.

They sell tickets for all PL games over the summer don't they? I assume they'd remain the same price in the run up to the match.

I’m not even sure about that. But even if true, I think the only way of ever finding out ticket prices for City games, is to go on the planner and see how much they currently are.

Unlike pretty much every other club in the country, I don’t think City ever actually publish a list of ticket prices anywhere.

Yes they do, although I believe now they've started doing two drops. One mid-season.

I don't think they necessarily stay the same either as it's more dynamic pricing. I'm sure they went up after Haalands start in the Treble season and they saw the demand had increased. Doubt they'd decrease them as people could just cancel their tickets and re-purchase.

I'm aware we don't publish category prices, but someone on here must know if the price remains the same across the various ticket drops.

Be related to the demand. If we were running away with league, still competing in Europe etc I imagine they'd be increasing prices mid season.

Last time they were published was 2007/08 before the hideous trainer salesman got involved rocketing up prices.

Prices went up £2 across the board last two seasons mid season , but 2 years ago the cheapest ones went up by £13.

What happened then? The second follow up meeting was last night (Tuesday 8th). Anyone heard anything? Can anyone here say anything or all still NDA’d??

Always said a demonstration against CP should have been pre-planned, then if it wasn't cancelled we would have known the meetings were useless no matter what NDAs are in place.

Trying to buy 2 extra tickets for palace for a lad at work and his young lad

The cheapest I can get is £63 / £35

Palace at home at 12:30!!??

What is happening to our club? This is fucking disgusting
And the sad thing is, they do not give a single fuck what we think or feel about it.

They’re not arsed if a family from Wythenshawe or Harpurhey can’t afford to go and there are empty seats, they’re just happy they’ve been able to shift fewer tickets for more money to people from anywhere whether they’re City fans or not.

Let’s say we have 10,000 seats available to sell for the game as individual match tickets (approximates: 52k stadium, 35k STs, 3k away fans, 4k hospitality+corporate, leaving 10k). If they sell 5,000 of them at £120 (and many go for double that) through their ticket tout partners (and their Sister sites, because they all have Sister sites n’all!) and 2,000 at £71 through the official City ticket website, they don’t care that there are 3,000 empty seats and they don’t care that they could have sold all 10,000 at £35 for adults and £15 for children to local Blues who’d love to be there for the last Saturday home game of the season which would create a better atmosphere and it be a better occasion for the players on the pitch and the fans in the stands who’d likely be regular returners to the stadium because they enjoyed the game and the atmosphere… because they’d make more money the other way.

They’d rather have 3,000 empty seats, a ground swarming with nobodies, some who’d leave the ground if we got beat without a care in the world, some not even City fans, creating a shitter atmosphere and a shitter occasion for the team and the fans… but a bit more money.

Money money money!

YOU’VE PRICED OUT OUR KIDS, YOU’VE PRICED OUT OUR KIDS, OH MAN CITY, YOU’VE PRICED OUT OUR KIDS!

Yes .pretty sure they do stay the same, there is no dynamic pricing. I buy most of my tickets in the summer drop, and when the returns go up they are the same price. It is an issue when a game gets changed like this one to an inconvenient time, and some setas don't get resold(remebering they have been sold once) but I don't see that they could sell them cheaper than I paid for mine. The issue is the original price.
