Xabi Alonso and/or Bayer at CFA

Would he defend City in a spat with Liverpool as Pep or Mancini would do?
Would he always have one eye on a position over there?
Would he just be using City as a stepping stone for them?
To those involved with football its a job first and foremost so,
YES
NO
City is not a stepping stone to any club so, NO

While we do need to plan for the future, and setting something up would be great, i don't think this is anything more than Alonso coming to see his old boss to get some help with ideas on the training ground.

Hi Xabi, we need a meeting with you and your whole coaching staff in secret to discuss your contract.

Cool, Teams meeting then?

Nah has to be in person, for reasons.

I guess, where should this top secret meeting that nobody should know about take place then?

Just come en masse to our place. Nobody will suspect a thing.
It would certainly top Mancini allegedly being in the stand while Hughes was there, and Pep being announced whilst Pellegrini was still in charge!

It would be the same as Vinny bringing a Bayern team to play against City. He would do his best to win the game, whilst showing the utmost respect for his opponent.

What we all mean is;

Would he wear the scarf?

Guardiola has been getting an easy ride even though his best efforts have been hoodies........... :-)

Nothing remotely official and no photos yet ??? Social media saying he / they are here ??? Very strange indeed especially on a Thursday before an important weekend of fixtures for both clubs .
