They don’t produce anything because we rather pass the ball around until the oppositions defense is set and then give the ball to either of them who are supposed to beat 1vs2/3 on the regular with no overlapping fullback. Have you ever seen a club wasting wingers like ours? Look at PSG. They don’t play this inverted Fullback thing. Their fullbacks actually help their wingers as good as they already are. Half of the squad of PSG wouldn’t start for City because they ain’t ready or can’t be trusted. Zaire-Emery and Neves and Doue are great examples that wouldn’t make it here. At least not for now.

Pep doesnt play the way you are describing.....he never really has ...certainly not at Barca and here anyway.

What you are criticising is what has won us title after title - it aint working now as the players cant do it anymore and too many are finished. But if you want to see wing play you may as well stop watching us until pep leaves....Sav and Doku are both strange signings for us and Ive always thought that

Line up could be all good. Peps sure Crystal Palace gonna sit deep, so Doku and Savinho gonna have not so much of an impact. O'Reilly gonna play wide on the left and Lewis gonna play mostly in the middle. We should see Gundogan and Kovacic arriving into the box more frequently. Hoping for KDB to register some numbers.

People crying out for Doku and Savinho just do not want to notice, that as long as they are a great threat to the opposition, they are the main reason for most dangerous turnovers too.

We do not need the pace when we are controlling the game.

I wouldn't be sure about sitting deep, I expect the opposite, pace and power.
