What an utterly bizarre line up. Sooner the season ends and we move on the better for all. Absolutely ridiculous.
I've a feeling Peps divorce was far from amicable, it's the only explanation I can come up with for such lines ups.

That said, fingers crossed and hopefully for the best, like the old days :-)

Come here James McAtee lad, I know I've not started you all season but here's a nice simple home game for you to build up some confidence... ONLY JOKING DICKHEAD. IT'S NOT REALLY A SIMPLE GAME, IT'S A MUST-WIN GAME AGAINST ONE OF THE IN-FORM SIDES IN THE LEAGUE. TWAT.

Line up could be all good. Peps sure Crystal Palace gonna sit deep, so Doku and Savinho gonna have not so much of an impact. O'Reilly gonna play wide on the left and Lewis gonna play mostly in the middle. We should see Gundogan and Kovacic arriving into the box more frequently. Hoping for KDB to register some numbers.

People crying out for Doku and Savinho just do not want to notice, that as long as they are a great threat to the opposition, they are the main reason for most dangerous turnovers too.

We do not need the pace when we are controlling the game.

2-0 for City
Anyone crying out for Doku against this opposition, really needs to reassess if football is for them .
As a sub if they tire. The only possible argument.

Should we fluke a win today, there'll be some who won't look back at their posts on here this morning too fondly. Pep trying to get himself sacked is a beauty.

Lewis is as competent or incompetent a defender as Nunes in that position, albeit too short and slight and gets bullied off the ball. (Nunes get turned inside out). They have different weaknesses but neither can be counted on to stop the cross from coming in on that side. Neither is ideal. The major issue with this line-up is elsewhere.

Wasn't expecting that line up to be honest. Bench looks stronger than the starting 11 to me but he must have some reason for thinking this is the right team for today's game.

Regardless, let's hope he has got it right today and we get the 3 points.

If Kevin is surplus to requirements next year why is he so important now that he plays every game.
This is the thing I can't get my head around.

The guy has pretty said that he's done, so why are we playing him when we've got other options and we need to see if those options work?

Some other posters have said that this Pep selection today is a way of trying out players to see if they've got a future, DeBruyne has no future here, use him as an impact sub FFS!
