this next 45 could save our season , win this and we have a great chance of CL and the cup
Better chance, yes, great chance nope.

Villa at home is a 6 pointer, but our away games are tough. Everton won’t leave Goodison without a couple more wins, Bournemouth and Fulham are both away too and equally difficult.

McAtee off for me, the lad has zero personality on the pitch, get Savio on
Wouldn't mind no changes for a little while longer.
I think McAyee has been OK in his general play but no confidence in front of goal.
Don't think I've seen a match like this with so many missed chances.
Palace should have been 4 up but should now be 4 2 down at half time.
That header by McAtee and De Bruynr shot looked unmissable

De Bruyne is the one who's got us firing and playing on the front foot after that dreadful first 30 minutes.

He has been good. But its not just him. Gundo, Marmoush, Mcatee, Kova, both Nicos have all been great pushing us. Even Rico with his mini touches and movements.

Its been fantastic football bar the chance misses and the 3 chances we gave up.

This actually looked more like 2019-2021 City football than anything I've seen this season.

I hated the lineup too. But it is what it is. I was wrong. This lineup is fire!!! Win or lose,; want ro see more of this.

this could give us momentum and the fight is still there

Great comeback but Rico needs to come off.

He is just positionally unaware. There was a couple of times in that half when he was well ahead of the ball in the RW area. Eze was totally free if the ball got turned over.

I would also take off McAtee for Bobb/Sav. Apart from the easy header he's been anonymous.
He’s learned his positioning from Walker but has half the pace.

We never looked like getting back into this game, The Eze offside goal seemed to give us the kick on the bollocks that we needed.

I was fearing the worst as we were getting picked off so easily on the counter attack.

Alot better last 20 minutes of the first half, De Bruyne has pulled us back into this game and has grabbed the game by the scruff.

We are lacking pace at the back, I'd bring on Khusanov for Rico Lewis, Possibly Savinho for McAtee too.

Come on City, Massive 45 ahead.

Watching a yank stream, muted for shite Barry venison Irish plodder, then no fking burger ads.......and Nevillecunt at half time. Anyway it's a bizarre performance but at least we're still in this.

Don't get the lad, a city fan going through the motions, just can't take to that in anyway
I agree.

If any one of us was good enough to play for our club we would be playing out of our skin every chance we had.

He is totally anonymous at times. Games just pass him by.

Mactee grown in to the game for me should stay on I would take kova off drop gundogan in his place put savinho on

Poor defending at times but going forward we look decent. Unlucky not to be ahead

It's fair enough to doubt the quality of our players, especially this season, but I've not doubted their heart or commitment for a long time - the fight they showed after 0-2 was amazing. I just feel awful for the older lads having to drag themselves through this when really we should have younger legs out there doing the running for them.

De Bruyne should be at the stage now where he just stands on the right wing and pings balls to the back post for runners, not having to cover every blade of grass because Gundogan and Kovacic are all he's got for support. Gundogan's at the stage where he should be getting carried by the lads around him. Instead it's De Bruyne and Kovacic.

By the same token at the other end of the spectrum, O'Reilly should be getting help from his midfielders but it's Kovacic and Gundogan in front of him. McAtee should be getting help from his nearby midfielders but it's a 34 y/o busting a gut just to stay in the game. The balance of the side is all wrong and, as much as we've been alright going forward, thank fuck Eze mistimed his run. Otherwise it was game over.

Don't trust us to see this out, but let's see.
