Thoroughly enjoyable game to be at. So pleased for Pep that starting the young lads paid off for him. We looked very fluid and quite unpredictable and the players had a spring in their step which the crowd responded to I think

When I saw the X1 my heart sank, & after the 1st 20mins horror show I thought season over, but fair play to kdb for rolling back the yrs. also gundo & also a big shout out for rico Lewis who I thought was superb, modern day Richard edghill with some fans but deserved serious credit today, also Mamoush was superb, city are back!!
 
My Sky planner's playing up - instead of today's match it must have recorded a KDB highlights reel from years ago... :-)

Just brilliant to see all the players enjoying themselves out there again.

On TNT sports they must have harped on about the disallowed Palace goal 15 times - it wasn't even controversial, it was OFFSIDE!

On the other hand, I didn't hear a single reference to the fact that Richards, who scored their second, possibly shouldn't have even been on the pitch.

Even when discussing his foul, there was no reference to him being the last man. Blatant favouritism. They spent longer talking about Lewis' potential handball, which at 5-2 with 2 minutes left would have made sod all difference.

What a fantastic turnaround.

And this is why Pep walks on water and is why the Blue Moaners tend not to be able to understand our counter-intuitive risk and reward footy and tactics. As Cloughie used to say about John McGovern 'to the untrained eye he's a weakling.........'
 
That 2nd half was more like the City we know, total control suffocating Palace. Kev motm, great support from Nico, Kova and Mcatee. This performance gives me hope for the remainder of the season and for next

I couldn't believe that opening half hour, we could have been four or five goals down, and we'd have been well goooosed then, that's for sure .... every time Palace broke they looked like scoring, and the less said about our defence at that point, the better.

But that brilliant free kick of KDB's unexpectedly offered us the belief that we could get back into it, and the Marmoush goal that followed only built on that .... from that moment on Palace lost their belief, and their shape, and we're NOT the same confident and threatening team they had been beforehand .... we took over, and achieved a quite superb comeback win.

But the games pivotal moment was probably Eze's goal being ruled out.

We were pants at the back for sure , however if we're going to count could have beens it could also have been 4 4 at that stage easily , can't count only one sides could have beens
