Yeah, but apart from that …..

We desparately need a left back and a right back with pace if we are to continue with defending on the halfway line next season.

How many times have we seen the opposition playing a ball into our leftside channel totally bypassing our left sided defender, for the ball to be played across the box for an unchallenged tap in at the back stick, with our right back totally out of position.

Almost impossible to analyse that game. Close to being 0-3 down with the defence looking shockingly poor.
KDB dragged us back into it and, as our belief grew, they just seem to wilt. They lost any fight they had left for the battle and we took our chances well without playing the scintillating football of years just gone. We did put some nice passages together with good, fluid football.
KDB our talisman and Kovacic had a strong game and added the vital 3rd goal.

Our midfield pretty anonymous until they scored their third then they bricked it when we scored our first. Midfield then started playing a bit closer together to my eyes meaning we had some simple short passes to pop it off to each other and players were close enough to pick up some loose balls. Defence wasn't proactive enough for me at times but overall a comeback win in the sunshine is always fun.

Kev's best game for ages and Bobb took a couple of tough challenges that didn't seem to phase him which gives me confidence he's not too worried about his legs

Thought the semi automated offside thing worked well, no 10mins drawing lines with a wonky ruler just straightforward decision.

That's where we suffer the most in games. On the turnover our fullbacks are more advanced than our midfielders.

A break down the side and an easy tap in at the far post where the tracking full back is 15-20 yards away from the attacker.

Missed the game today. Pleasantly surprised with the result. Nico and Macca scoring in the same game is huge.

Well that should shut a few moaning cunts up.

5 goals and they said it was the wrong selection, one even said the worst in pep’s reign.

Clown world.

Get in City!!!!
Be honest, no way did you see that team and think we'd play so well. Certainly no way you saw 5-2 after 20 minutes.

Chuffed as fuck but just how it happened I've no idea. :-)
