how this works out? is it only for Gundo +Savinho and the 4 January arrivals and Echeverri? that would be 7x incoming signings and maybe few youngsters . and the Haaland mega extension, wonder if that one alone accounts for lot of of 52m spent on agents.

Haaland's agent will have had a huge pay day.

Agents get paid by clubs every time a contract is signed. The fact that this was a 9.5 year contract, his agent will have wanted a huge pay day. Especially as he negotiated Erling a near £300m in wages and bonuses in that contract.

Her isn't it.

I really like him. But i think Barca does too
No doubt. I just wonder with them only having so much playtime to offer. Him, Gavi, and olmo play in similar spaces.

That sort of rotation friction might be enough to pry him loose potentially. He's developed well for them, looked fantastic against dortmund

And they struggle to pay and register their players. Not the best negotiation tactic if you're trying to attract new talent.

I consider our club quite ruthless in market ( last couple of transfer windows did bring my confidence down)
I am surprised we have not been able to get a couple of La Masia products from Barcelona in their worst time financially.

Hind sight is 20/20 but that 100 million on Kalvin and Nunes could have been spend on one of those dozens of La Masia players they are churning out each season.

Link broken
The original link has now been deleted from Twitter.
Apparently, the Wirtz deal is said to be at an advanced stage—but I can’t confirm how reliable that is.
I’m currently digging around to see if any similar leaks or reports are circulating elsewhere.

We brought youngsters such as Garcia and Torres from Spain and they simply couldn’t settle. Not sure that’s a path we want to retread.

What/ who was the source?

Advanced stage with which club? BM

Little ol’ City.
Perhaps that’s exactly why we’re not offering Kev another year—maybe there’s already a quiet level of assurance from Wirtz and his camp behind the scenes?

Still, I can’t lie—it makes me a little uneasy. Going toe-to-toe with Bayern for Germany’s crown jewel is no small task. When they decide they want a Germna player, they usually get them.
What/ who was the source?
I believe it was Sacha Tavolieri who reported it. Like I said, I'm still trying to find other sources or reports circulating about this.
Plettenberg, however, maintains that Bayern are still actively pushing for the deal.

Disclaimer: I’m only going off what I read on Twitter, which could very well be complete bollocks.
All I can do now is hope and dream. I’ll be waiting anxiously for that sweet, sweet 'Here we go.

The thing is they don't want to leave, these top La Masia kids love their club to the death. Even if they did, they will want to go back to Spain again at some point in future.

this seems to of really split the fan base massively but if we need to sign home grown players who would be the best options to get
