Massive Rebuild Next Summer - Rate Our Side

I'm excited for the rebuild. Rodri's return will instantly improve the balance of the side. He is an outstanding player and we have missed him hugely. We aren't a million miles away, we have a number of good young players who need to find consistency and with a couple of additions we will be right back at it again.

Hopefully the new era sees another brand of exciting, attacking and successful football.

It isn't going to get worse than it has been in my opinion. So many will return stronger and more hungry after injuries this campaign and we still have a shot at the FA Cup and making the CL as well as the Club World Cup to win.
 
Buy a goalie (and promote the youth to 2nd), LB, RB and kev replacement

keep all but nunes, akanji, eddie, ortega (reluctlently)stones, kev and Bernie if Benfica come (let him have his dream move)

Also get rid of gameboy shite to rate players ;-)

Without a replacement for King Kev we are challenging for nothing. We also need a fit Rodri back and the aforementioned full backs. 4 or 5 from a list of 10 could leave.

LB: Buy new and an actual left back, josko back up
CB: Kush, Dias, Ake, Reis, Juma, Gvardiol, let go Akanji and stones
DCM: Rodri, Nico
ACM: Foden, O'Rielly, Gundo(extention triggered so it's happening) McAtee, echeveri keep, buy kev/bernie replacements (wirtz and rejinders hopefully)
AWM: Savio, (Grealish. and doku either kept with a chance to improve or sold)
FWD: Haaland, Mamoush, bobb

Bobb?

If we let go Stones, Waker and Grealish, would we need to buy homegrown players to replace them or do we have overseas players spots in the squad available?

No we don't have any room in the free list until players leave so yes Grealish and Stones would need homegrown replacements. Walker isn't in either squad list.

You can’t replace what we had. We won everything multiple times.

Wirtz, Gibbs-White, Cambiasso aren’t as good as what KDB, Gundogan, Bernardo, Walker were in their pomp. In fact it doesn’t matter who we buy it will be a downgrade.

Rodri is approaching 30 with a severe injury under his belt.

We have to face facts, all good things come to an end.

Not saying we’ll be rubbish, just won’t be what we were no matter who comes in.
People who think next season we’ll be ‘back’ will be disappointed.

Can't wait myself, seeing who we buy and how they develop as a team and players over the next few years.What's gone was great,no reason to say what comes next won't be great in it's own way.
 
You saw how vital Ederson is to us on Saturday with that assist. I'd love him to stay and I wonder if he's 50/50.

Need a right back and a left back.
O'Reilly isn't a LB.

We need legs in midfield (x2), but legs that can see a pass and move the ball quickly.

I know it'll be controversial but I'd sell Doku. He's improved but he's still very hit and miss.
Not sure we'll get our money back though.

I count 6 so need 2 more, who says we won't go for players classed as homegrown from abroard, frimpong for example or if we do go foe Hall or Livamento as rumoured
 
We need to also consider our academy players. We are a bit short termist. Perhaps we now regret the same of the some academy players. I am thinking about our current youth team who are close to a domestic double of FA Youth Cup and PL Academy titles. I've been watching the highlights on mancity.com and there are some very taleneted players there.
