To be fair, he originally posted it on 5th April before Forest even put their tickets on sale. Not saying that means he's definitely genuine but when you look at how many fans we now have both at home and abroad there will always be someone wanting to get to a City game who hasn't previously been before and doesn't have the requisite membership to buy a ticket.Interesting first post the day that Forest’s tickets sell out. How would people on here know your son is not a mad Notts Forest fan? No previous posts before the one asking about tickets for the Forest semifinal?
Not that violence is ever good but this game might be the perfect game for it to kick off....City could point the finger at Wembley but behind the scenes know that due to live TV coverage and uproar that they need to sort out this kind of shit with 'partners' at our place.Just had a peek on forest forum, some fans are considering buying seats off ticket agency in our end. Not a good plan, going by some games at the etihad this season.

The point isn't about that, it's that the 9 partners will have tickets to shift and they'll not give a shit who buys them as long as monies flow into their business account.shame our fans don't buy our allocation, problem solved
Son is a mad Man City fan and we are in London for the weekend. Coming from Ireland and this would be first match. Was hoping i could join as a Cityzen and purchase tickets but I see you have to have been a member on 29th March. Presumably this is to stop Forest fans from joining and getting tickets. Is there any other way for me to get tickets? Will they drop that 29th March criteria at all? Thanks
I support the Dublin Gaelic Football team. I don’t really follow soccer myself. I used to follow Man Utd as a child but not anymore (there goes any chance of tickets!)and what team do you support? If you dont mind me asking.
I get that pal but the chances of other Forest fans buying tickets this way become pretty easy? Also if he’s such a big City fan why not become a member sooner and get a ticket for the home end in one of the games not sold out? I wouldn’t be providing tickets that way. I had a Sunderland fan near me in the league cup final against them, I like Sunderland but I didn’t appreciate him singing Sunderland songs in our end especially as they were one nil up at the time, and I nearly got thrown out for having string words with him. I don’t think we should be adding to the chances of similar. Using a child as the reason is normal tactics for opposition fans. If he is so keen bring him over for Villa wolves or Bournemouth I say. In answer to your question, what team do I think your son would support, I’d say rags or dippers, but could be Forest as much as City. As I said earlier there’s 3 home games with ticket availability. Also if your son is such a big City fan then yes you may well have posted on here before the notts Forest fixture was known aboutWhy would I previously post? I have had no reason to post on this Forum before. I was looking for tickets as I’m in London for the weekend and thought it would be a nice thing to do for my 10 year old son. On the balance what club do you think a 10 year old Irish boy supports? Certainly not Notts Forest anyway. I might just wait and see if they go on open sale later in the week and hope for the best. Thanks all
Genuine cos he’s played the trump card of bringing his “10 year old son” into it? Are you interested in a time share I’ve got, if so pm meSeems genuine enough, sure he could show some proof somehow
Yeah, he could be bluffing for all I know but the fact is that there are loads of casual City fans out there who don't have memberships but then fancy taking in a game and an FA Cup semi-final in London will perhaps have more appeal to a casual fan than a league game against Villa on a Tuesday night. Funnily enough, I had someone from Ireland indirectly asking me to sort tickets for a PL game a couple of years ago for him and his son but I couldn't because it was 1 member, 1 ticket, and neither of them were members. This is someone who I knew from years ago so I knew it was a genuine request but it gives a snapshot of those who are City fans but don't have the required membership to buy tickets.I get that pal but the chances of other Forest fans buying tickets this way become pretty easy? Well that answers my question of WTF would anyone want to be in London that weekend ;-)I’m sorry I posted at all. Was just looking for some advice about how I could possibly get tickets. I never asked for anyone to buy me tickets. We are in London for the weekend as my wife is running the marathon. The match just happens to coincide with that and the timing works. I thought it would be nice thing to do. There is no alterior motive here.
Thanks for all your inputs - I won’t be posting again. Good luck in the semi final!
