Tyson would use Lee as if he was a toothpick, love Bruce Lee films and the respect he seems to have from his genre he's a legend but Tyson is just raw bone crunching power.

Steven Seagal and Bruce Lee is one I would have loved to have seen though :)

It would be an interesting match up for sure.

However, Lee would have the advantage in kicking and that's something else. A kick from a martial artist will hurt and very quickly stop you moving. Legs are a lot longer than arms! Watch anyone who's half decent at Karate, Taekwondo Do etc and tell me those kicks won't hurt!

I would imagine Lee to go in, kick, and get out. Tyson wouldn't be used to that and it's possibly a reason you won't see boxers going against MMA, kickboxers etc. it's a different form of attack.

Of course Tyson only needs one punch, but again anyone who's as good as Lee will be rapid and strong.

Even given the size difference I think anyone going against a martial artist who's supremely fit and used to contact will have a very good chance of causing anyone serious harm.

Any top heavyweight at his peak would beat any other (unarmed) fighter however tough anyone thinks/thought they were.

Peak Muhammad Ali would have beaten Bruce Lee in every aspect of fighting.

It should be kept in mind that although he was a top class martial artist, Bruce Lee was a choreographed actor with a powerful publicity machine behind him.

Mike Tyson at his peak was a very dangerous wild animal... he probably still is.

I'm not sure it would be that straight forward. Tyson would have to land an effective punch, and Lee would have just ducked, dived and dodged all day long until Tyson wore himself out. I recon it would be more even match than people think.

Have you seen the speed of Bruce Lee? Tyson wouldn't get anywhere near him, he could punch at 40 miles per hour. Add to that he was also an expert in sweeping and grappling techniques. I reckon he'd have him on the deck before tyson knew what had happened.

He's a long reach. That's it.
Tyson was masterful at getting behind boxers who relied on a long reach.
