Protest v Wolves

Why would any season ticket holder have an issue with being asked to attend 10 games. If someone doesn't go to 10 games (unless they have a valid unforeseen reason) then they shouldn't have a season ticket and a flexi-gold would work perfect and save them money.
I don’t have an issue with that, purely pointed out it was new. I support that point as too many like to attend the big games only. The restrictions on who you can transfer too I’m not too sure on for me it’s fine but it’s forcing people to sell to the club so they can push their inflated match day prices…

Excellent news for me being able to swap my flexi back to a normal season ticket, I regrettably had to give my previous one up about 7 years back and didn’t think the chance to get one again was ever going to happen. I had no issues with the flexi and worked great for me but a ‘normal’ season ticket would certainly be favourable

They have coceded on the core points, but also become stricter on the more wide ranging.

they were never gonna give without take and the arguement they will use is that one complaint was tickets being sold on, they hve made this harder for fans to do, though swerved the fact they are one of the biggest culprits

It's completely hypocritical...

So, they make it harder for me and you to transfer tickets to our mates, but they are still selling them to any Tom, Dick and Harry who has the money to spend across the 9 (YES NINE) ticket tout sites they partner with.

So, so, so greedy.

When i’m transferring my ticket I just transfer it to my dads account and the ticket link comes to a separate email i have then i forward it on to whoever, so can’t see the 3 names being an issue. Straight forward enough to do.

When I have a clash with work, I struggle to get takers for some night games so will just be listing those straight away on ticket exchange from now on, which is presumably what the club want.

Good news on the pathway to a proper ST for people on Flexigold though, hopefully they’ll allocate some space in new stand for them to sit with friends/family.

Well shock the club clamping down on who can transfer too for free we knew it was coming also increasing number of games needed to be used and introducing minimum 10 game policy for the owner.

No surprise we knew the route would be to follow them lot across town just another way to claim more money.

as much as people can blame the club some season ticket holders apathy is really to blame as they have pushed the club to this path not turning up or transferring and only attending big games.

Still a sorry state as everything is micro managed by the club
That was inevitable because a season card that let’s the holder attend no games is a lot less of a season card than flexi-gold.

Unless I've read it wrong they've expanded the list of people you can transfer to, to include 3 people without memberships as well as anyone on your Friends & Family list. WTF are you complaining about?

Don’t see many corporate or tunnel club mob on them buses ….. no they’re in big flashy motors on the club car park ….. us peasants ?

Get on a peasant carrier in the pissing rain , snow and ice.
True mate. That said, I was on the new bus from Victoria to the ground on Saturday and it was spot on.

'93:20, Gold and Platinum Season Ticket Members will continue to be offered guaranteed refunds for 12 Premier League matches during the 2025/26 season, and every ticket listed on the Ticket Exchange will continue to be made available on our website to eligible fans'.

That currently isn't the case now though is it as haven't people said that their ticket has ended up costing people hundreds and been bought via a reseller. Is the club now saying that every ticket listed on the ticket exchange will be sold via the website and not via a reseller?? Is this a change of heart or wording that is very loose?

Sounds like progress mate.

Congrats to City Matters on making good progress on a number of areas, ably supported by 1894 and the City Foodbank.

If City allow for 3000 new seasoncard holders that seems reasonable to me. Would that satisfy others? I wonder what the demand would be?
Not me. We will have 7000+ extra seats but but no more season ticket holders than we had in 2019 (40k).

Its a shame the club haven't made any progress on offering new season tickets to members without having to pay £150 extra than everyone else for the privilege.

The protests should still go ahead.

I said there will be no concession on that with 8000 new seats to sell, and thousands of Flexi-Gold season tickets probably being made available by the club. The club aren’t going to stop off one of their newest revenue scam schemes.

Sadly I suspect you're going to be proven right. Through flexi-gold they get to increase all new general admission season tickets by £150, through the guise of supposed flexibility. I bet the non City-supporting middle manager who came up with that twist on PrestwichBlue's initially positive idea got a healthy bonus. I hope that the fan groups don't give up the fight against this scam.

If the allowing Flexi Gold fans that attend 16 games to convert to normal season tickets policy continues annually though that would increase season ticket holders wouldn’t it?

You've read it wrong

They’ve worded it to sound like a benefit, but it’s actually a restriction.

Last (and this) season, you could transfer tickets to anyone with a free City account. Now, you can only do that with three people, everyone else needs to have a paid membership.

So while it looks like they’re giving us more flexibility, they’re actually forcing more fans to buy memberships just to receive transfers.

I'm assuming that persons on your f&f will still require a supporter number in order for you to transfer tickets to them, but the number of people you may transfer tickets to who do not have a paid-up match day membership will be limited to three, rather than the present unlimited amount. It appears to be a policy aimed at reducing the number of people buying on face value websites.
