The whole arse is going to fall out of this someday. We have had one bad season and you can see the sluggish ticket sales. Imagine if we have a couple of bad seasons. The club need to realise we haven’t got a core fan base like Liverpool or United. all these tourists fans will drop us as quick as they picked us up as soon as results go belly up.

But I know the club is pushing fans to their limits on purpose to get them to give up on their season tickets, even though fans are desperate to try and to hold on to their season tickets. It’s fucking sickening what is going on behind the scenes, and what the club is up to.

Not a chance mate, Discounted family tickets don’t bring in enough PL match day money. Only the FA Cup allows families to sit together when City are drawn at home in the FA cup.

City’s 10 game attend in person policy seems to impact on more people than City Matters reps thought it would, based on some of the posts I’ve received in recent weeks.

If you’ve got a season card you really should be able to attend half the games in person. If those struggling find a work around, then good luck to them.

What seems to have disappeared from the thread is the previous interest in helping local families get tickets together. Hopefully, this will be addressed with the expanded stand etc.

I don't think CM reps had any hand in this. Not heard from any of them but would appear another blindsiding.

Any CM rep that supports it or had a hand in it is a disgrace and I just don't think any fan would stoop that low. It's a business strategy to reduce SCs

There could certainly be issues that means you unexpectedly didn't get to the 16 games they are now requiring. What if you had a serious illness for example in a period of the season where we ha e lots of home games together? Outside the last protest I spoke to a guy who had become ill a few years back and he said the club cancelled his season ticket.

There needs to be more families in the ground to avoid a demographic timebomb. Families were prioritised for most of this season’s flexi- golds ( which could be made full season cards without set up fees).

I'm assuming that persons on your f&f will still require a supporter number in order for you to transfer tickets to them, but the number of people you may transfer tickets to who do not have a paid-up match day membership will be limited to three, rather than the present unlimited amount. It appears to be a policy aimed at reducing the number of people buying on face value websites.

I bet there have been loads of fans trying to get in touch with City trying to explain their personal circumstances, and why they can’t make X amount of games, and fear losing their season tickets. Now that fear has increased.

For many it will be a once only visit to see a performance from the latest in vogue artist or show, or as in regards Oasis a nostalgic revisit.
Also you should be guaranteed a top show at these events as you know exactly what you are getting. In football you don't. You could pay a fortune and watch an utter shit show like the last Manchester derby. Or you could be lucky and witness a seven goal thriller and a great comeback like the Palace game. There is of course an argument it's that unpredictability that makes football attractive but it's certainly a gamble.

You've a lot of faith in the club. Whether it's people like you sorting tickets out for people, the face value guys helping people connect, all the most supportive actions are down to the fans acting off their own back.

The club don't give a fuck about anything other than maximising revenue and match by match tickets versus SC is probably 3:1 when you factor in other spend

Anyone trying to claim £71 is appropriate for a working class sport when for some that could be a quarter of their weekly wage is either a **** or on the wind up. They don't deserve your measured response which is spot on btw

Why? It wasn’t the case from the introduction of season tickets until the arrival of Covid - so why is it now necessary? Lots of people have different ways they use season tickets - some might share them between three of four family members or mates, because of financial circumstances, other commitments or whatever.

City Matters reps will have been told this renewal news last week, same time as the freezes were put to them.

I don't know whether they agreed, refused, or even had an opportunity to say anything, but they will have been told about it.

It would be good to hear from them on this matter which is clearly emotive to so many of us.

Regarding the 10 game minimum rule.

What happens if you have a serious illness and are being treated in hospital or at home? What if the only thing you've got to look forward to after treatment is getting back to the ground?

But you now can’t because you’ve missed 10 games and your season ticket has been taken off you.

What happens if you have broke your leg or have had a knee replacement and miss a chunk of the season?

What happens to our female supporters who give birth during the season or god forbid have any complications post birth?

What about anyone who is suffering from mental health or ainxety and is struggling?

Music fans absolutely are emotionally attached to the bands they love, but are desperately fighting the exact same forces of greedy venues, ticket touts and shite platforms like Ticketmaster that are killing independent venues, dynamic pricing and all the same shite. It's the same battle as far as I'm concerned.
