I do think it'd be good to find fullbacks who can also be wingbacks to allow that flexibility and defensive solidity. Agree, I expect the FBs will be one who can play both wide and in the half space depending who the paired winger is.Omar Marmoush and Phul Foden will be our starting Left amd Right wide forwards next year. Backed up by Savio, Doku and Bobb. I dont think we'll be targeting a winger.
Our fullbacks will hug the line. NOR and Nunues currently do that. Perhaps they could get some competition or replacements ( depending on how one feels about Nunes/ if you want NOR playing in CM)
