Let's hope we get to the FA Cup final so at least the game will have a reasonable excuse for a shit kick off time.
I’m sure I’m correct that the majority of mid week games are cup games - season ticket holders can pick / choose if they want to go or not.Matches during the week means most people have work and school the following day.
I suppose you are referring to the Monday morning feeling.

Yes I’m not saying there aren’t midweek league games, I’m saying the majority are Champs League / League Cup.Wolves and Villa, neither are weekend games.
I have been going to midweek league games since 1964,
The thing is if a game is midweek we accept it is going to be an evening kick off. There is no choice that the game will be played when the majority of fans are out of work / school / college etc.True, we have a hectic schedule, successful teams do.
I get home from midweek games between 12.30 and 1.00am. Its not easy.
Evening away games are often easier,
My point is its always been difficult , you make a choice whether you go, or not. it's the plethora of excuses which is infuriating.
It’s a 7pm ko to maximise TV coverage. Games have been staggered across the whole weekend:The thing is if a game is midweek we accept it is going to be an evening kick off. There is no choice that the game will be played when the majority of fans are out of work / school / college etc.
But here, what is the reason for a 7pm kick off? There is none. Why is it not between noon and 4pm?
It’s a case of mind over matter. To the Premier League, they don’t mind and fans don’t matter.
Is the correct answer, of course, but it’s still a piss take when Brentford v Fulham is down as 3pm on SundayIt’s a 7pm ko to maximise TV coverage. Games have been staggered across the whole weekend:
Friday 16 May
20:00 Chelsea v Man Utd (Sky Sports)
Sunday 18 May 2025
12:00 Everton v Southampton (TNT Sports)
14:15 West Ham v Nottingham Forest (Sky Sports)*
*Subject to Forest's participation in the FA Cup final
14:15 or 19:00 Aston Villa v Spurs (Sky Sports)*
*Subject to Villa's participation in the FA Cup final. If the PL match goes ahead, the kick-off time will be confirmed after the FA Cup semi-finals
15:00 Brentford v Fulham
15:00 Crystal Palace v Wolves*
*Subject to Palace's participation in the FA Cup final
15:00 Leicester City v Ipswich Town
16:30 Arsenal v Newcastle United (Sky Sports)
19:00 Man City v AFC Bournemouth (Sky Sports)*
*Subject to City's participation in the FA Cup final
Monday 19 May
20:00 Brighton v Liverpool (Sky Sports)
Course there's a reason it's money we sold out to the tv companies years ago, we get to see the best players who in turn demand the best wages. Clubs don't rely on us anymore we don't call the tune tv does you either attend when games are played or don't it's personal choice. The thing is if a game is midweek we accept it is going to be an evening kick off. There is no choice that the game will be played when the majority of fans are out of work / school / college etc.

Bournemouth now, barely is, and will definitely be midweek if we get to the FA cup final.Wolves and Villa, neither are weekend games.
Plus the kids have no school on a Saturday for the Wolves game.Wolves and Villa, neither are weekend games.
I have been going to midweek league games since 1964,
Even worse. Given how long City piss around post match for things like this, and the state of public transport on a Sunday, he’ll be doing his farewell interview to an empty stadiumIf it wasn't for it being a home goodbye to KDB, I'd be voting with my feet.
Same trip anytime of the dayHorrible trip back for Bournemouth fans. Got to be at least 5 hrs
Totally agree with the sentiments. It is a pisstake, more so for the bournemouth fans as is moving the brighton v liverpool game to monday night
Brentford v fulham or villav Spurs, both are more reasonable options with regards to fans travelling (I see villa is pencilled in if we are in the final to replace us if they are not as the 7pm game), though no game shouldbe 7pm on a sunday.
And the pithy replies about being there no matter what of you a re not a proper blue, or the TV can do what they want and we should accept it don't wash, such weak minded subservience is why fans are taken the piss out of consrantly and it isn't jist about us but all football fans
the timing of the game is a disgrace and slap in the face of football, Sky are cunts and so are the premier league
Kick off is earlier than the Leicester game a few weeks back.Totally agree with the sentiments.
Trouble is as "paying visitors" (that's how we're seen these days) we're nothing to the club/sly sports or the pl.
If every club could arrange a supporter boycott for one match day I'm not sure it would make a difference. They've got your money, and more importantly the TV money, already
Edit: forgot the most important point, that k.o. time is utterly disgraceful for all people attending
I'm sure Bournemouth's fans and Blues who have kids with season tickets who have school in the morning, or Blues who travel to games and have work Monday morning share your enthusiasm.
