Gonna be a tough one this. Would like to see Kush back in the XI

Ortega (fucks sake)

Khusanov
Dias
Gvardiol
O'Reilly

Gonzalez
Gundogan
Grealish

McAtee
De Bruyne
Marmoush
Probably same XI as last time. So Lewis and Kovacic instead of Khusanov and Grealish. Don’t wanna see Lewus vs N‘diaye but whatever he will regardless

Telling that no one is picking or suggesting Foden gets a start. He's had a shit season.

I'd play kdb in the front 3 with marmoush and either Doku or Grealish.

Up the Toffees

I apologise for my outburst, but Ya Know!
I'm not going today ,bit sad I'm missing our last match at Goodison. Had some belting days out up there ,over the years. It is actually one of my favourite grounds ,had a lot of trouble in the 80s,but as time went on always used to look forward to going to a proper traditional ground ,whilst every other club was becoming all shiny and new
.
Been some Fantastic games between us at Goodison, the best ever,in my life time ( although I wasn't there )
Was the 81 F A cup quarter final,.when two of my favourite City players Gerry Gow and Paul Power scored to snatch a 2-2 draw.
What a match that was! .still remember listening to my radio as a City daft teenager...as the match ebbed and flowed from end to end.
Goodison was also the first ground id watched city at with a crowd of over 50 thousand..league cup quarter finals 87/88 season. A Great old ground is Goodison.

There used to be a tradition of Everton fans hopping into cars after the match, never any malice just a cheery 'alright lads, can you drop me near town' or similar request.

There was very rarely any lumber at Goodison Park, the odd skirmish but I don't recall any major nuisance being committed?

City to win 1-3 today.

1981 quarter final. Mayhem.

You're right, it's the one exception that I can recall. I got split up from the rest of the Blackpool Blues on Gwladys Street and saw a group of 4 or 5 Evertonians bearing down on me. I got punched and jostled, and fell against a lamp post, I felt wet all down my back and thought I'd been slashed (as was the fashion back then).

Turns out it was just sweat, such was the level of my terror.

Everton was a picnic among chums compared with Anfield at around the same time, snide bastards everywhere picking off the unwary.

This, and every match until CL is confirmed is an absolute MUST WIN.

Why? Because we are in the market for new blood and one of the key selling points for transfers is guaranteed CL games.

Must win. We need to smash the toffees.
Pep needs us to smash the toffees.
The club needs us to smash the toffees.
CL is more important to the club this season than the FA cup because we are in desperate need of a new squad.

As long as Pep is here city will get their targets with or without CL football.

Used to regularly do dippers and Everton away. Everton was OK ish but dippers was a head down and say nowt.

God, we thought we'd discovered the next major talent and a future England star.
Hung around like a bad smell, just checked it out, 179 appearances
...I reckon at least 160 must have been as sub to wind the clock down. Amazingly he turned down the final contract to try and get first team football to his credit
Still only 26yo.
Where is he now?
