We’ve done incredibly well to secure him. Absolutely invaluable business.

You can tell there would have been huge battles in the summer for his signature. Especially given how many clubs are looking for attacking reinforcements.

To make the impact he has had in a dysfunctional team is incredible. It’s a shame that we won’t see much more of the KDB and Marmoush link-up.

We play far more conservatively away from home which is why he's quieter, when we made the changes in the last 15 minutes he became more involved, he should've scored on that Keane blunder, expect to see him more active against Villa.

Last half hour - when he had Doku to bounce off - was great. Energetic, involved and threatening.

He has a handy knack of coming out with the ball when he’s dribbling. Unorthodox style but stays with him. Reminds me of Salah.

Does fall into the same category as a lot of modern players where people just expect him to perform equally well no matter where in the front three he plays.

Wasn't at his best today but still easily the best available option up there, IMO.

Reminds me of SWP, where the ball would ricochet between several shins only to end up at his feet in the end somehow.

Yes. Needed Doku on the pitch to bring the best out of him. Totally anonymous before that. The injury to their player probably helped too. Should have scored that chance really. Thought we had blown it when he missed that. Thankfully not.

Should have had a couple today.

He's showing me that he doesn't have the natural instincts to play as a 9, he's excellent from the left or possibly behind the striker but he was brought in as that player who could also fill in upfront.

If he can't do that, we need somebody that can and then we've got a problem because whoever that is needs to be able to play elsewhere too to ensure they'll get enough minutes and we've got no room in the squad to fit in another player like that.

Sounds like doomsday scenario.

He absolutely should have scored that chance just before we did finally score.

Wasn't the only chance he should have scored. Missing chances can happen to anybody though, I didn't make that comment based on him missing chances he just doesn't look like he's ever played as a 9 and doesn't know how to lead the line. Perhaps that's confusion and not knowing what Pep wants from him as a 9 which would be understandable if so. I'm not sure that's the case though, looks very much like a goalscoring winger/second forward playing out of position than actually being comfortable in that role.

Let's be honest, he was brought in as someone who can fill in for Haaland if necessary, but ultimately is supposed to play alongside him, so it's not a surprise he's not a natural number 9. But he's done alright there.

He isn't a striker. If anything he flourishes best when he can play off a 9, drifting in and out of the various attacking spaces or the pitch.

Hiding to nothing expecting him to dominate 2 6 foot + brute CB's.
