Yep I've always said this, even when they were dominant under the pisscan they always seemed to have one standout player each season who would be single handedly responsible for many of their wins in that particular season.
And that player was dressed in black and had a whistle.

To me he only looks good because he plays alongside some of the worst players in the history of the Premiership. I don't think he's poor, certainly not, but the praise he receives from the media is only because of who he plays for (of course). In a decent mid-table team he wouldn't have to work as hard as he does at the moment, a team where everyone pulls their weight. He has to cover for so many lightweights in that rag side that he appears to be overly industrious: darting about here and there because most of his colleagues can't be arsed.

I don't think he'll leave the rags because of the incredible salary he's on, but to me he's a big fish in an extraordinarily minute pond.
I couldn't understand why they sold McTominay. He wasn't great but he was better than most of their players and was always popping up with an undeserved goal. I guess it was to bank the clear profit on a homegrown player.

Exactly that. They'd have failed PSR if they didn't sell him. They're praying Villa sign that knobhead

McTominay has almost morphed into their Palmer. Or should that be the other way round?
The difference is that Scottie Boy is a useless big lump standing out in a shit league.

A brilliant piece of commentary.

Fantastically delivered, with impeccable timing by Guy Mowbray.
He also in the same game 6:3 win commented about the rags leaving the ground early I’ll paraphrase him,
Went something like they are leaving already not to get an halftime pie they are going home as the camera panned to outside the stadium
Met him on the stairs after a game and thanked him for the wonderful commentary, he had a colleague with him who got got the impression was a blue Guy confirmed he is a York City fan

Being a player who came through the ranks he had 0 amortisation value so his fee was 100% going back on the books and something they could waste on a few shite players

It will be hilarious come August.
Once they sign the latest Dutch or Danish striker, Luca Modric and some French defender, you will get the usual “United will get Top Four” predictions from the MSM.
Obviously the same will be said about Everton,Palace and Wolves.
Because that’s where they are at now.
