A brief inspection of the PL table just shows what a low quality season it's been. The eventually champions usually average at least around 2.5 points per game Liverpool have a 2.375 average which isn't bad, it's certainly enough this season. The teams chasing would normally average over 2 points per game in an attempt to put in a challenge, there's not one team getting over 2 points a game - Arsenal, their nearest challengers have a poor 1.97 points per game.
This is a Leicester City quality type of season.

But few will remember and fewer still will give a fuck. The big question and only one really is can we match 2.375 next season and give the dippers a proper run for their money. They have tied down the old guard which could be a blessing or a curse but I would expect them to be there or there abouts.

Between vvd and Salah and the astronomical wages they'll be on (no chance they're on less than 400k) add in hefty agent fees and signing bonuses and that's the best part of £100m over the 2 years to keep those two players. And they'll still need to replace them after that if not sooner.

Going to seriously eat into their budget this summer. Let's hope they fall off a cliff like walker within a month of the new season.

Easy to knock the Salah renewal due to his age, but let’s not pretend this has been one of, if not, the best season whilst at Liverpool. Even when playing poorly this season he seems to spawn a goal and a couple of assists.

Hope his form doesn’t continue into the next season but even if it drops off a bit they’ve still got a decent player there - who could they buy that’s prem proven and will bag them 20+ goals?

His last goal from open play was against us in February. That was 9 games ago.

Not saying he isn't class but Erling would get slaughtered for a run like that. Along with his age that should be a warning sign for the dippers.

Salah has been a great player for them, hardly gets injured doesn’t get many booking and scores and assists and still looks after himself, VVD is not the player he was and has been very lucky this season with getting away with certain red cards personally I would have let him go.

Absolutely nobody will care one bit about them winning it this year. Hairy hands was correct. Been a poor season all round. Us and Bridesmaid FC have give them a free run.

But on the flipside I'd rather the tramps win it than the wooden Spooners, their fans are unbearable and would have been double unbearable.

Plus equalling 20 titles will absolute bug the crap out of the red mardarses.
