I recall hearing a stat - at least 10 years ago now - that Shanghai has more snooker clubs than the rest of the world outside of China combined. Genuinely surprised that it's now 2025 and still no Chinese winner. Won't be long though as there are some seriously good and exciting players coming through now.

Yup. Wakelin struggled over the line in a very poor final frame. He will need to play a lot better in the next round.
