Snooker World Championship 2025

Seriously questioning that? Seriously?
Yes, I am. Seriously. O'Sullivan is undoubtedly one of the most talented players to pick up a snooker cue, alongside Higgins (A) and White. That's not even up for debate. They were/are entertainers. But not the greatest. Not for me, anyway. It's a toss up between Davies and Hendry, in my opinion.*

It’s like football. Comparing eras is subjective. The balls, tables, cues and chalk were all different and so we haven’t had the pleasure of seeing the two Davies and Hendry in modern times.

O’Sullivan has had the longevity on the others though.

He has won a record 23 Triple Crown titles, including eight Masters titles and eight UK Championship titles in I feel the hardest era of the sport these last couple of decades - he is still playing and blowing opponents away. All that alone puts him amongst the greatest.
It’s a joy to watch him play, the speed at which he plays and the break building out of nowhere. Will be a big loss to the sport when he bows out.

His biggest achievement for me is stopping Trump from winning loads. I’ve never warmed to the Wurzel, for whatever reason.

Good shout, Trump would have alot more titles if it wasn’t for Ronnie. I quite like watching him play to be fair - just tend to nod off when he’s interviewed.

Joe and Fred Davies obviously.

Barry Hearn is absolutely desperate for Stan Moody to become the Luke Littler of snooker.

To be fair the kid is some serious talent. Even top pros are calling him a generational talent

I'm surprised Donald Trump hasn't tried implementimg a tariff due to the high number of Chinese players competing.

Been down there today and the punters have all got Ronnie mania going on.
Well enjoyed it and bumped into Nicky Weaver and a quick reminisce with him about Gillingham game.

The main thing I dislike about Ronnie is his supporters tbh!

He did an exhibition in Melton a few years ago with JV as compere, and it’s not a big snooker hall. Was a privilege to watch him so close. He had the cue ball on a string all night.
