FA Cup SF Draw | Nott'm Forest | Sun 27 April 16:30 | ITV1

I would have gone to this if it had been on Saturday or and an earlier kick off on the Sunday, say around 2pm. But my lad has an exam at 9am Monday morning so not bothering as it will be too much for him, and we've been last 2 years so doesn't bother us missing as much as it would of normally.

go without him ;-)

I tend to agree
If one can't afford it or isn't arsed fine.
No need to slate the Club , they don't fix prices or train timetables.
I personally think the criticism has gone tad far, the whole site is crawling with negativity.
Exactly. Wembley is not down to City. They have no call on that. I am going and encourage all too if they can. It might be the last. We just don't know.

Hehe.

We decided to not take my son this time, if it was a early kick off he would of been with us.
And here lies the problem,

A lot have dismissed the late Sunday ko but it's a definite factor if planning on taking school age kids.

Schools have just had 2 weeks off,
The Semi is next weekend,
The weekend after is another Bank holiday weekend.

It's fucking crass by the FA and TV to put a Manchester team in a Sunday 16:30 match, which could go to ET and Pens.

There is absolutely no need for it but they don't give a Fuck about fans, so why should fans care about the FA!

PC posted a brilliant video earlier of City at Leeds and made the obvious but ignored observation, the fans were mostly under 30 years of age!

In 20 / 30 years time no one will be going to football matches in numbers, they would never have got into it and the legacy fans wont be going anymore.

And people moan about lack of atmosphere at games, it's because the age of the crowd has increased.

We're more interested in having a beer or chatting shite with similar FOC mates, where are the young fans in large numbers?

A PL game these days is like the Town in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, no bloody kids.

The PL and football is eating itself!

I sit in 220 and have my son with me but its evident all over the ground the age of average fan is 50+ As a guess from my view ive never sat in the family stand so not sure how it is there but football is eating itself and MCFC are a huge part of the problem our match day prices are obscene and the lack of ST for kids and young fans is another terrible decision by the ppl who make these calls they really need to read the room look at tmoro and SF sales to say the least

Totally sympathise with people who are struggling financially plus it’s a fair reason if their kids have exams etc but there are many supporters ( unfortunately including quite a few of my friends, colleagues who are not struggling financially ) who simply can’t be bothered to go next Sunday and hide behind a multitude of excuses.

The same people moan about the so called ‘Tourists’….well it’s a good job we have them because we certainly can’t sell out at the moment…..and you can bet your life they will be moaning if they can’t get a final ticket should we beat Forest.

My two children…(now grown up) used to go and watch the blues when we were really crap, in the vain hope that we would reach Wembley in either a Semi or a Final……same as me….there was always that glimmer of hope…..I’ve been watching City since Bell Lee and Summerbee ( although my favourite was Neil Young) but I certainly would not want to go back to the misery of the 1980’s, 1990’s and early 2000’s when in reality our only hope was a quarter final place in a cup and to finish away from danger in the league.

Guess what….supporting a successful club does mean extra matches, cup finals etc etc…….if you can’t or don’t want to attend…don’t spoil it for the rest.

You are correct there is too much negativity on here and although our management team don’t get everything right we couldn’t wish for better owners.

Presume you don't go to aways then mate?
'Where are the young fans'????
Missed about 4 or 5 aways this year. Mostly young lads at the aways which is why the atmosphere is brilliant. Or am I missing something here?
At the swamp the other week I actually said to my mate. 'Wow do I feel my age'..I am 51 by the way

If we’d somehow manage to get hold of 27K tickets for an away QF in London and sold them out, people would be talking about it in 50 years as one of the all time great away followings.

But because it’s one round later, it’s ‘crap’
9k at Spurs was one of the best aways in modern times, and here we are about to take over triple that for the 30th (or so) time in 14 years, anyone who criticises that in or outside the club, doesn’t really understand football, it’s cheap point scoring by tinternet fannies who’ve never paid a penny to attend a game. Me, I’ll be there & I’ll be getting shit faced and singing my heart out for 90
