This pre-match thread is almost as bad as the match thread!

Nunes, Nico O, Marmoush will give us pace on the wings, Kova decent in short bursts, Josko and Ruben should have enough to deal with the loanee. The rest will hopefully give us the ball control we need to put them on the back foot.

Lots of good options in the bench as and when required.

We are on a decent run, and hopefully we have enough about us to continue it tonight.

I can’t help thinking that he doesn’t want to lose the likes of Bernardo, Mcatee, Kovacic so with all the rumours they are getting sold that he’s now defiantly playing them? We signed in January one of the best young DM in Europe and Gundogan has played much better with Gonzalez in there as well? It just smacks a bit of petulance from Pep that he still keeps picking it?

I think Pep trust these players that have won everything with him. But it's now turning into blind loyalty. As the man said they are his players. The problem is his players are not the players of the treble year anymore. They are older and riddled with injuries.

I think it's Viana who's gutting the squad. As I've said in the transfer forum Viana at Sporting was ruthless. An example they signed a striker for 20 mil which is alot for sporting, he got alot of injuries Viana got rid the next window and brought in Gyokeres. All because the player couldn't stay fit for long.
