Woman from Durham University just been on the north east news recalling when she met the Pope. She said he asked her what football team she supported. Of course she answered "Manchester United ". At this point the Pope started laughing and replied "at least you have a sense of humour ".
Not quite the response some of our posters on here would have us believe would be his response however still not bad.

I watched that and did give it a chortle

Martial - £65m easy, probably PSG
Antony - £70 to Italy, Juventus
Malacia - £50m to Atletico
Rashford - £90m easily to Madrid, Barca or PSG

So they'll definitely get £275m for those 4. All world class on their day and can turn games on their own technical ability. Shoe ins for any team with ambitions of going far in the CL.....
I think we should be in for Martial if he’s going for £65m

In a season full of disappointments, one that sticks out is dropping 4 points to these. They're absolutely shit, and would be in 17th right now if we hadn't had a total meltdown against them.
Had we beaten them in both games we'd be 5 points better off now and almost guaranteed a stress free finish to this season.

Edited for you ....................

Martial - £65k easy, probably PSG
Antony - £70k to Italy, Juventus
Malacia - £50k to Atletico
Rashford - £90k easily to Madrid, Barca or PSG

That should give them enough to reinstate the hot lunches.

They’d do well to get anything for Martial.

He left on a free last summer and struggled to find a club, before signing for AEK Athens in September.

Probably get £125m for Mount instead.
Every so often the rags have a player whose value increases in proportion to the fewer games he plays. Mount is definitely in that category.

A sighting of Mount on the pitch is comparable to the sighting of a white rhino. This means he is certainly now worth 125 million.

seems legit the Oshimen and Cunha offers mate unfortunately.
28 crosses into the box on Sunday. Hojland missed every single one of them.

Haaland would be on double figures.

I'd imagine the likes of Oshimen becoming some sort of cult figure, for just doing the very basics of what a striker is supposed to do.

Amazing they are being allowed to do it after scruffy Jim said they was close to running out of money.

I just wonder how they have managed to get away it, it's a complete mystery how it seems to be overlooked.

Heard someone on the radio saying that their 3 year PSR losses deadline-thingamy runs out in June 25.
