Serie A Thread | 2024/25

Since buying tickets for Napoli’s last home game they’ve turned gash. Utterly jinxed them. Baws

Just watching Lazio v Fiorentina. Couple,of observations
1. Stadio Olympico is half full, why?
2. Neither club wearing their traditional colours. I’ve watched a few Seria A games this season and this has been the case on quite a few occasions? Anybody know why?
Lazio average around 40k in a 70k stadium and the White kit is to celebrate the 125th anniversary for Rome’s oldest professional football club

English media
“Emptyhad vibes in Genoa as the Italian peasants can’t afford to fill their diddy stadium”

I think Napoli might do it now.

Inter having to juggle 3 competitions, got to think they'll drop more points.

Yes, but it’s not just this game. It seems Serie A has already adopted the FIFA decree regarding colour blindness/Kit colours in certain games.

I did see Juventus playing a home game in their 3rd kit recently, which was weird, although I'm sure we have done it several times over the years. I remember us wearing the Red/Black kit at home v Spurs I think. I know in the NFL teams can wear 'alternative' home jerseys 3 times per season, maybe it generates extra kit sales

We’ve worn our away kit twice v Spurs at MR, due to the light blue being too close to Spurs kit.

Hopefully they match each other over the next five games and there's a playoff
I hope not. I’m going to last game of season in Napoli. Be fucking typical of me to jinx it. Bet on Inter.

Inter have completely shat the bed in Serie A. Napoli's Scudetto to lose now.

That’ll be a top night if Napoli win the Scudetto. I know it’s scruffy as fuck but I love Naples, I was there just after they won it in 2023 and the place was still buzzing, hope it works out for you.

4th time going over, love the city. Chaotic but somehow it works.

I'm going in August.... any advice on getting tickets?
I got them via these guys

AFAIK you can only get tickets via them unless you have Italian ID. Officially linked up with Napoli so they are legit. Used them for Bologna home opener this season. Section I was in was like a UN meeting, lots of Argies especially as you’d expect.

At Bologna game locals heard my Scottish accent and kept asking me about McTomminay. My standard reply was no clue mate, he’s a rag.

Seems like Marcus Thuram has done a Mason Greenwood and battered a young lady - once again with the aftermath caught on camera.

Drugs as well.
