Kevin De Bruyne

When I heard DeBruyne was having Villa talks I assumed it was buying some beachside residence in Spain and that he'd pop up on " A place in the Sun" supping a cocktail with the delectable Jasmine.

The source for this story is what can be described best as a Dolphin with a hormone imbalance.

Just when I’d got over those hot sweaty nights dreaming of Jasmine Harman, you draw me back in!

He hasn't ruled out staying in England.

If he still has desire to compete at this level and Villa offer him a better deal than anywhere abroad, then why wouldn't he go there?
He may have the desire, but there he would command a start each game, and the harsh facts are he cannot do it anymore. It would be a really sad end to his PL career for me if he did that. Don’t mix that up with tarnishing his legacy with us, as I certainly don’t mean that.

Everton for me , marquee signing for their new stadium and he gets to not move his family which has always been his number priority.

It would be, but he wouldn't be the first athlete to do have a sad end to a PL career

Athletes are often deluded into thinking they still have a lot more to offer than they do, even if they are well adjusted people in general. That's why very few quit at the top.

You would think any premier league team is well aware you'll be lucky to get half a dozen very good games out of him next season, so they wouldn't offer him a great contract but you never know, he's a massive name.

His best bet is an easier league with a team that'll offer him a very nice package and where he feels would be good for his family

But all I'm saying is if for some reason a premier league team offers him a great contract with the gamble he's going to roll back the years, he could well be facing us next year, if he's determined to show he can still cut it in this league.

My feeling is he won't be in the premier league though.
