I would be shocked if they dropped points in 3 of their last 4 games. That would be almost spursy levels of arsenalness!

Liverpool will have already won it by the time they play them, so there's a good chance they win that one, like when we dicked them 4-0 after giving them a guard of honour.
 
Yes.
I’m very confident of a 2nd place finish with the FA Cup. All things considered, that is a very satisfying end to the season.
 
Not bothered about 2nd place.

But a strong and consistent finish would be bloody amazing for the mood going into the club world cup. We'd all fancy us then, the team included.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Top five is all that matters and a nice cup or two.
 
If we win all 4 remaining games there's a fair chance and would be funny as fuck, the bluds & fams would be fuming.

As it is, after how we've been this season I'll be happy to have a CL spot guaranteed before a cup final appearance.

It's really 7 points because of our goal difference being much worse than theirs (would need a swing of 11 goals).

They would have to lose two games for us to catch them so they probably wouldn’t increase it by much. It would be great if we were level on points on the final day but needed to close a 4 goal difference or something like that.

That said, it ain’t happening in my opinion. We’re still fifth in the table until the others drop points in their games in hand, so we need to be focusing on that situation first. I’d rather they beat Newcastle myself which will probably ensure 2nd place anyway.
 
Would be fucking hilarious if we did.

Arsenal tonking us at their place, celebrating with humble bollocks only for us to finish above them in our worst season in about 7/8 years? Would be beautiful.

The fact we've won the same amount of games as them is funny enough, mind.
 
Came on here to post about second place and saw the thread. If the goal difference weren't so big then yes, a reasonably good chance of us coming second. Arse will almost certainly lose to the Dippers, and could easily lose to Newcastle.

That's your six points, and those two losses would account for the GD reducing to maybe seven. We'd effectively need to pull those seven goals back over two games, which I don't see happening.

I'll take fifth at this point, I think we'll finish third.
 
I don't think we will catch Arsenal unfortunately due to the goal difference, They could lose two games and still finish above us due to the goal difference.

It would be funny if we managed to get second place and finish ahead of them again, Although I'm happy enough to finish in the Top 5 spots and get Championship League football.

That win on Tuesday was absolutely massive, Top 5 and the FA Cup and we should be happy campers.

GD ... you just never know, we could find our top level shooting boots and put 6/7 in against Soton.
