I know this is a long shot but I don’t suppose anyone has tickets to the game at Wembley that they won’t be using? Happy to pay for them. My boys are big city fans but haven’t seen them play yet so was wondering if I might be able to do Wembley as we are located near there. Thanks I’m advance
If you go on the city website you can buy 4 tickets not sure how many are left but they are punting them on Facebook so think plenty left you have until tomorow

Slightly off course, can any Blues recommend a City pub in town for the match around John Dalton St ? Want to avoid rag pubs as they are playing also on Sunday.

This is basically the perfect strategy for every match. I get it that guys want to start but Doku is unplayable if he can just air it out for 10-15 minutes. If City need a goal he can get behind basically any defender and if they're leading he can be an outlet to take possession into the offensive half and hold up play.
Alternatively start him and take him off after 10 mins when the game's settled down.

Sorry I don't see doku that way he was on for 15 mins went passed the fullback just once ( and we scored ) he is hardly unplayable.

Even a half Foden is better
Always these extreme takes on internet. McAtee absolutely infuriated me against Villa, he had to get one goal off two chances, but generally hes been better lately than Phil, who cannot create anything or even find himself in a good position. Foden gonna be better long term and gonna get better, but at the moment James over Phil is justified

We know they don't want the ball and will sit deep and we know they will then look to counter. The three games we have played were good warm ups for this approach, particularly Palace.

It's about keeping the ball, staying patient and grinding them down. This is huge, the biggest game for most of their players and I would expect a lot of nerves.

I fully expect us to beat them after our recent results.

Save Doku for his 10 min cameo v tiring or newly introduced defenders.

Doku brings a lot of attacking flair but it's the lack of control that has seen him remain on the bench. Pep is still concerned by our vulnerability to counter attacks so it is critical we don't give the ball away and leave ourselves stretched. That's why Pep has been so critical about the end product. Doku has to find a blue shirt and not give the ball away or it leaves us in trouble.

I would expect us to setup similarly to recent games with a possession focus and then introduce a bit more flair when needed. It's not pretty but it's about results.

Nonsense mate, no way McAtee starts Sunday

I'd say if we hadn't won the last two games in quick succession, and neither of them particularly easy given opposition form, that this game would have been a difficult one to call. But on the high we're on, I'm expecting us to get the job done. Maybe just the one goal in it.
Pep will be wary about the whole way Forest have played this season, so I think we'll have a strong presence in midfield, and nothing much on the wings. One winger at most. Given how he played and was everywhere, I'd expect him to ask Bernardo to play on the wing, but also get back to do some work in midfield. Although I still don't think Nunes is really a defender, he has to surely stick with him for this one. Messing around with the back four now would be a terrible, terrible mistake. Only question mark is whether he brings Nico back in in midfield. I'd be inclined to. (The other Nico has surely earned his place).
No McAtee, I'm assuming. I had very high hopes of the lad, but it just shows that being an outstanding player at academy level, and then performing creditably at Sheffield United, does not qualify you to play in the first team of MCFC. His time may come. But not now, please Pep.

By the way, surely Kev can play two games between Tuesday and Sunday? Or at least starting against Forest? It's not as if we've been playing two games a week for months. He is a genuine big game player, one of the few in that line-up now. He will surely be hugely motivated for this, maybe his last appearance at Wembley. I simply don't see how he can be left out for the whole match.

Thinking of going down the corner house as never been there and abit sick of all the other Wembley boozers, is it any good ?
