Just thought that I’d open this up seeing as it’s draft night. New enough to the NFL. Who do we think will be a bust/hit here? I think Jeanty is definitely worth the high pick. He can break tackles like it’s nothing. Hunter is a very special type of player. I don’t know much about CFB. Is Ward worth this pick or is it just QB desperation?

Fairly underwhelming draft class, certainly from a QB perspective. Lions went safe i think with needed help on the defensive line so no complaints really.

Taking Dart over Sanders is an interesting one. Sanders must have done something wrong and dart must have done a lot of things right to get pushed up to #26.
Didnt do the combine, pro day was crap and has been acting like a big shot the last 12mths. Crashed and burned in his team interviews also by all accounts. Wouldn't be surprised if Browns pick him up just for the marketing purposes with Hunter and their QB situation is hardly ideal

People are crazy passing on Sanders, he is good enough to win a playoff game, but more importantly,y he will be prime time must-see TV.

If he goes to the Browns then the NFL should be ashamed. As a Dallas fan with no expectations of winning anything, I would welcome the media frenzy and gladly ship Dax to Cleveland.

This to me is interesting but generally when I see an interesting player in the draft they tend to disappear.

2nd pick and traded to get him but is he going to play both sides in the nfl? Doubt it. But he's insisted that's what he wants.
They wouldn’t have traded up for him if they aren’t going to play him both sides of the ball. He’ll absolutely will do.

"More importantly"? I think GMs tend to prioritise winning over TV numbers given it's their jobs on the line

He's just not that good. I think the entire QB class isn't overly strong tbf. There's no conspiracy or bias against him (I know you haven't said there is but the reactions online are there for everyone to see). He's done himself no favours in proving himself one way or the other by opting out of pretty much everything too.

As a Falcons fan I'm just happy we drafted sensibly and didn't fuck it up as we more than often do in the first.

Sanders got some really bad press from unquoted sources in the lead up. Throw enough mud…
I've not seen enough to comment on how good he has been at college level. But the commentary I've seen makes a lot of sense re his lack of humility.

Most draft pics are recruited to be an understudy and to spend at least a year being a good team mate. No team wants to recruit a problem player. The draft players that do well tend to be the ones who will be that good squad man.

Sanders had his draft night set made up with the word legendary everywhere and a massive gold dollar sign round his neck. He's played this so bad he's made it easy for teams to pass on him. And wherever he ends up there will be questions around his attitude.

Apparently in the meetings he had with teams none of them had a problem with him playing both sides. That’s why he’s the best player in the draft. He’s 2 first-rounders for the price of 1 pick.

Jets get Right Tackle Armand Membou

Shedeur Sanders could go to the Jets in the second round draft, more likely to the Browns though

Sanders still not gone eh? Surely he goes to the Saints at 8 then. I really wonder what he said in those interviews.
Patriots are looking a lot stronger. Henderson and Campbell make me wonder how they’ll perform next year.
